my friend was a grade A c u next tuesday today at work, wow. she was talking shit about me right in front of me, i mean, really? we had a meeting this morning where my supervisor told everyone to leave the packer alone because we need to focus on the quality. we are not to be bothered with stuff like training. well, i kept getting bothered with training, and other questions and issues these guys who are new do not need to be taking to me and have been told where to take it. i am in the office faxing and asked politely (to my lead hand for the week) if he could make sure that these guys stop asking me stuff because i do not have time to train and it is not my responsibility to do so. my friend (should start using 'friend', really), spins her chair towards the lead and says 'these people (referring to me) who don't want to train will be the first ones to complain when we go to volvo' (volvo is our new client and both of them will be working for volvo). i raised my voice, but, not loud enough for anyone outside the office to hear, and said no, i do not have an issue with training, i have no TIME to train, and the supervisor said that no one is to bother the packer, this is why we have a lead hand. i walk out and hear her say to him something about pushing my buttons. i turn the hell back around and say to her i don't have buttons to push, the supervisor told us not to bother the packer, we do not have time to train, and it is not our responsibility. i mentioned how the lead pulled me away from packing earlier in the day and wanted me to train him how to do something i knew how to do (she also knows how to do it). she pipes up that she told him to come to me. i said (for the billionth time) i do not have time to train and we have books on how to do things, he should grab the book. she says that he needs to be trained on it and i respond with well that is not my problem (which it isn't, her and a guy who is off this week are supposed to be training him) and she yells out WELL THAT'S GREAT TEAMWORK, JADE. at that point, i was ready to beat her face in, so, i just asked where my supervisor was and walked out.
i tell my supervisor what happened. he goes and chats with them, basically tells them i am in the right, and, she then texts my supervisor on her way home that she will go to HR if i 'snap at her' one more time. LOL. i have never snapped at her before, and, i wouldn't really call it snapping this time, as i would actually say i was correcting her mistake of me not wanting to train when that was not the case at all.
hilarious how someone feels they can belittle you in front of others, but, when you have a backbone and don't let it happen, you're 'snapping' at them. maybe you should try being a better friend? yeah, probably. when she packs, she snaps at everyone who asks her a question. i don't snap at people, i just go to my lead or supervisor and tell them about the issues.
