New maps+New guns+New leveling system+new gun leveling system+New special ops mode etc.

COD isnt the best game out there but people dont give the developers enough credit. They dont have to completely rewrite the whole system for it to be a new game(Ex: Batman Arkham City, same fighting system but it is most certainly a brand new game). I hate most 3rd person shooters anyways, MW3 I will play on occasion. Plus, sales speak for themselves.
 
If it gets good sales, then they are doing something right. No one can deny that COD is one of the most succesful franchises of today. Whether its the best or not is highly debatable(I dont think it is near the best) but its sales numbers dont lie.

Yes it is a successful franchise but not a good franchise. The game only lasted like 2 weeks because I remember my friends list being full of MW3 players and now I only have like 2 friends who still play it.
 
I still know a ton of people who play itXD COD is the most popular game franchise out there, it always has players on almost every game. There are still people on MW, and that came out like 4 years ago. Sure maybe your friends got bored of it, doesnt mean the world did as well.

Again I think the franchise is mediocre at best, but it will ALWAYS have its fans and players.

Mk 9 and arkham city for me. Mvc 3 sucked, I played it a fee times to unlock the four characters and had an epeleptic fit. Best part is I dont have epilepsy
