Who else is just done with this game?

Not done with this game either. I just love it way too much. My few gamer friends gave up a long time ago, or never even bothered to begin with. They think me weird for being obsessed with it, but I can't help myself. It's hands down the best fighting game I've ever played and the best MK game by far. So I'm just getting started in a way. I've only gotten into the online very recently and am picking my select few characters that I want to get better with.

Anyone know if the PS3 patch is actually coming out (and when) or is it something people are just hoping for since it got released for 360?

I agree this game is hard to put down. Im also new to the online, im also waiting for the patch but i dont know when it comes out.
 
I'm about to go in the lab with Rain right now.
I've only really got Cyber Sub, Ermac, and Sektor mastered.
My Cyber Sub is the only one I really really have mastered.

Isnt the patch a hotfix, therefore we wont know if its updated or not, the system just does it automatically when it says checking online for new features?
 
I don't think I'll be done with MK 9 for quite a LOOOONG time.
Considering that MK9 has 90% of everything that I loved in the MK 1 thru UMK 3 era, I'm quite happy with it.
 
i think im about to start doing what critical-limit and others have been beggin me to do, tournys. theres a tourny at a local gamestop by my way so i guess i'll just start from there and work my way up. the ONLY reason y i still play this is because im in a clan and we have clan wars and whatnot. i also wanna see how the characters play after the patch since EVERYONE received a buff, nerf or both. other than that, i rarely play online anymore. not trying to sound ****y, but im just tired of beatin on everyone lol. its boring. the community doesnt bother me because im an ******* myself (only to people who deserve it). ive already established a good name on my main acc and my clan acc, people respect my kitana, idk man. i dont know wat to do anymore besides do tournys
 
I'll probably never be done with this beauty.


I've only mastered Sektor (I mean gameplay wise, not the achievement)

I main sektor too, and could never find an alt character after all this time

Baraka's the only one that really came close. Kenshi wasnt half bad either, but I really didnt get into the DLC characters as much as I should have. I'm gonna have to play some more and give Baraka/Kenshi some more time

and as far as online spam goes, I stopped playing online by the time they released DLC. So I really dont know if any of the DLC are abused online
 
I main Baraka second to Sektor.
But I'm not in full control of him yet.

Sheeva is also up there.

That's pretty much all you have left to do man. I mean the REAL tourneys. You're gonna wipe the floor with local gamestop tourney lol. I wiped the floor and I was on Xbox and I couldn't even dash properly. I won with Ermac just spamming force push/lift/ block and 3,1,2 lol. I couldn't even do my combos with ermac becasue of how horribly I play on Xbox.

So you're going to be dissappointed with your gamestop tournament most likely. Devastation is coming up but it's a little too soon like Oct 7th I think. If you want FatalityRAy. I can let you know WAY ahead of time of the next big one that hits, and you can give it a shot.

Play me online sometime. I might even spot you a hundred to help with a plane ride.

I'm severly dissapponited with the patch... I stuck with Jade because I was expecting MAJOR BUFFS.

and all I got was a MAJOR NERF, with a few super minor unhelpful buffs.

I main skarlet now, but she's doesn't quite have the experience my Jade has yet. like I'm not even sure how to punish mileena's tele-kick with skarlet yet.
 
For me, I simply got bored of it. I tried all the characters, mastered a few, but I don't know. SP got boring after the first or second run, and MP was alright, but I never really dug MP games to begin with, so...

I really wish that NRS released the DLC a little more spreadout. We got all four characters in roughly a month and a half starting a few weeks after release. I guess it was to maintain sales and interest in the game, but this game needs some more DLC or something in order to draw me back to it.

I had my fun with MK, and I'll likely pick it up again in a few months to get a fresh experience(somewhat), but for now, I'm taking a break from MK.
 
I dont mean to beat a dead horse, as theres already a thread for this, but.

I'd play this game more if it was on PC. Yeah I am a PC gamer, hate me
 
lol who said ill be done wit MK?? this game rocks! I played since April and its still addicting online. i just mastered Jade & Ermac. and oh yeah i love doing his 56%damage online without xray. fun fun fun. :D Add me guys on PS3. Azndrew2
