Well at least they're not letting last gen consoles hold them back. Time to move on I say.

Character variations WILL ruin the game. Mark my words. NRS can't balance one set of a roster, let alone 3. Stage interactions too. They don't need these bullshit gimmicks. Theres a reason folk still play SF4, the core game is solid. No nonsense. MK doesn't need all this gobbledygook added. It's weak attempts at innovation.

LACK OF MK4-MKD Characters
One thing I really don't like....The lack of returning stages. They keep showing all this love for returning characters, but where are the returning stages?
I want the MK4 fan stage, Yin Yang Island, The Wu Shi Academy, Reptile's lair..
I'm still holding out for this...
Spoiler:
I don't like how the game will likely have a lot of family members. After MK9, I wanted to see new characters again. I want to see more original characters since Kotal Kahn looks badass. I don't want 95% of the new characters to be cousins, brothers, sisters, daughters and sons.
Can we please stop comparing every FG to SF. MK is a completely separate entity. If every FG was like SF, this genre would die out fast.
Anyway, NRS did a great job balancing Injustice. Sure, some characters were over-nerfed(Black Adam), over-buffed(Flash) and strangely left untouched(Batgirl) but overall I think they did a good job leveling everything out. So they have been making progress.
