What are you listening to?

ehhh I really dont like coal chamber. sounds like a mix between Korn and Static X

and the top comment on the video makes me cringe. Some guy praising how everything was better when Nu metal was popular. No thank you. It's still taking forever for that genre to dissapear. But at least we dont have people playing Papa roach and Drowning Pool really loud on speakers at school anymore.

Sorry if I seem critical, but I really hate nu metal.

I detest nu-metal with a passion! The sad thing is that it took me about 4 years to realize how bad it was! So I'll take my PURE metal instead...like what you're about to hear right now!

(by the way, this is pre-Dickinson material)

the only maiden era I like

sure there are some good dickinson songs here in there, but he begins to sound goofy and annoying IMO. First 2 albums I can listen to all the way through and enjoy every song. But I will admit, the dickinson albums have more creative album art and song titles. But that doesnt make a good song though

Since I was pretty much raised on the Dickinson era, I tend to overlook the first two albums, and the Blaze Bayley material. Since I already listen to Prowler, maybe I should into the first 2 albums further. Ironically, my favorite album cover from Maiden was Killers, which was pre-Dickinson.

probably the best instrumental I've heard
Not even my favorite band at all, but these 2 albums I really like

Believe it or not, I've actually seen a live version of Wrathchild that was shot about a few years ago on the Somewhere Back In Time Tour. I saw it on VH1 Classic (it might've been the Flight 666 documentary by Sam Dunn, but I've still got it on my DVR, so I'll have to watch it). Either way, I already knew that was a great song. Just haven't heard the original recorded version until just now.

The entire "8" EP by Uneven Structure! This band is SIIIIIIICK! Granted, the Meshuggah worship is clearly evident in their music. Still... Very awesome stuff!

their latest release was pretty good actually
I have the CD of Burn My Eyes, and the more Things Change. But I dont really like The More things change at all. One of the few albums I regret owning. It kinda is looming a little to close to Nu metal for my taste(lol I'm ranting about that genre again)

but Burn My Eyes is a classic though.
