Skarlet vignette + DLC characters confirmed!

the cyborg mk3 costumes are free. (don't quote me on that).

So, you think that WB and Netherrealm feel that a pack of on-disc skins is equal to a new character? Cause they'd be the same price if you're right. I don't see that happening.

It'd be pretty great if they were, but I just don't see it happening. Ultimately, it doesn't matter, cause I don't plan on supporting their DLC, although I will download the compatibility packs.

But yeah... I think they'll be at LEAST $6.99.

so, seems that each DLC character will come more or less at each 2 months ahead ..... after Skarlet, Kenshi and Rain, or , first Kenshi, next , Rain ..... until there, NRS will probably have decided who is the 4th one ......

My guess : Tanya or Shinnok.

It was 7 costumes with 3 fatalities.

Pretty sure that equals a character.

lol, you must be like me... I always main females (most of the time) Myself lol. I will sometimes go OUT OF MY WAY to find a fiction or show or w/e where a female is the protagonist.

Pretty sure? Based on what?

Skins and fatalities (that are already on the disc, no less) that contribute nothing to the actual fights, no matter how many, are not equal to a brand-new character with new moves that changes the way you play.

Again, It'd be nice, but I really don't see them being less than $6.99. Pretty sure it'll be closer to $10 than $5.
 
tanya she was a bad character to start with. i'd rather have some one else, like a younger shujinko or a redesigned hotaru, or havik. i'm just tired of the female, male rip offs.

ok, I think we get it lol. this is like your 4th post on your hate on Skarlet/female/male rip offs. I personally don't feel like skarlet is a rip off. When I look at her I don't think "oh she's a clone of this" or... w/e.

Each to his own opinion. I think skarlet is cool, and I thought havik was cheesey >.>

The character will be $5.

There is no debating.
Why would they go against all other fighting game dlc characters (Blazblue, MvC3) and charge double the normal character price.


The way I see it, if a Capcom game (kings at eating fans money) charges $5 for a fighter, MK will too.

Yes!! If at least in the DLC they could keep a male/female ratio of 1:1!

But now I am concerned that the 4th DLC character won't be Tanya... not to mention Sareena.

[Talking about shows... currently watching Nikita... Maggie Q = goddess... and the ideal actress to represent Jade, imho.]

Bleh don't sell yourself short. I don't think it's HIGHLY unlikely or anything. Pretty sure that ??? is just a placeholder. Because if they put tanya's silhouette there it would be extremely obvious lol.

I personally don't think shinnok has a chance as the 4th. I think it's between tanya/fujin and a very small chance of maybe the fighters fighting in the background on pits, like Frost or something(unlikely imo but better than shinnok lol)
 
my bet would be cyborg Smoke. then probably Tanya and then Shinnok. I also expect Frost to show up.. Ed didn't quite shoot those two down and he included shinnok in his first DLC tweet back then. also, for those who say Fujin, when tweeted once Ed replied: 'come in a year and tell me if Fujin is in the game'. idt he'll be appearing any time soon if not at all :/

especially considering you need a pass code to play online which cost an extra $10 and still doesn't work.

Capcom charged $5 for characters that were already on the disc. No extra work went into the DLC post-release. We'll find out next week, I guess. If it's $5 or less, mea culpa. I'll be very surpirsed.

If it's more, how will you react?

Skarlett is on the disc too.

But if she is more, I wont care.

yah but i'll tell u why i think she is.

ermac was made by fusing many souls and is shao kahns ace in the hole his general and was made to enforce his rule.

skarlet was made by fusing the blood of many warriors and is now his ace in the hole (his go to person). not to mention wasn't there already a blood monster thing in the 3d games. why recycle a failed fighter.
not to fore get why are the both red she could have been a dark red almost black.

i do however like her concept just not her story. i just hope she don't end up like frost.
