Saddest Moments in Video Games

in splinter cell double agent whe you have to shot lambert, i think thats how the main story goes :/ , i mean come on!!! who didnt like that fat dude in all previous splinter cell games always there when you need it the most, or to remember your objetives... in a stressy way

With all due respect, I regret to inform you that the Madden Curse is a much sadder gaming moment than Liu Kang's death for the simple reason that Liu's death was a fictional gaming tragedy, while the Madden Curse is a real-life gaming tragedy that is still on-going.

Operation Raccoon City Execute Leon ending.

Even though Leon didn't die because Leon is invincible so he was just playing it off that he's dead, Claire death was sad as hell.

She even softly begs to you not to kill her.


It's basically the ending for pricks to choose
 
I was always saddened by the scene in FF6 where Cyan sees his wife and child boarding the Phantom Train. Also, the scene in the ending where Shadow decides to stay in the tower to die and says goodbye to his dog.
 
Does anyone actually get that emotionally attached to game characters? Only one i got a bit gone over was Red Dead Redemption before the shitty last mission. Most games i have found funny, especially Resident Evil CV with Steve and Claire.

Just that. I took the damn game back when i first got it years ago. Something possessed me to download it on PSN(well becaue it was on offer with Res 4). It was the absolute worst and at damn time hilarious res game ever. The heartwarming noise that goes of when there's "moments" between Claire and Steve. Absolute BS.

Some of the stuff was nearly as good as the kids on Gun Survivor

Piers's death. This moment legit made me shed a few tears because not only was he becoming a good character, but he purely sacrificed himself for the world's safety.

Also the fact that Chris Redfield lost ALL his men. His worst nightmare.

Persona 3's ending is the saddest and most depressing thing I've ever seen in a game. By far. Even Gray Fox's death from MGS1 isn't as sad.


You'd have to watch all 4 parts, but the 4th part is by far the saddest thing I've seen in video games. But it's during the 2nd video that it starts to get sad. The first video is just the lead up. Broke down and cried like a baby after I beat it. So. Fvcking. Sad.

I'd love to see an ending where Sonya dies and Johnny Cage cries but then he loses control of his powers so he becomes evil.
