Ok we need to talk about the lack of female characters!

Also I agree her concept for her origins is meh,

But she had one of the funnest and hypest movesets in Mk9. It was really fun to rush down with her. When I pressure with cage, it feels cheesey, when I rush down with skarlet it felt legit like I earned my openings.

I say this as a Mileena fan, mind you, but I doubt they'd go apeshit if she weren't in a game, considering the fact that she wasn't in the big launch of the 3D era (MK:DA) and fans didn't seem to care. I do hope she makes it in, though.
 
Mileena will make it in the game. Considering she wasn't a victim of the 'Sindel Massacre.' But I guess everyone should just forget about it at this rate.

My guess is that Mileena will have something to do with Kotal Kahn. She may fued with him over the rule of Outworld.

That's what I'm thinking too.
Maybe she loses to Kotal Kahn and either gets killed, or serves him, or maybe she is behind the whole Outworld civil war.


As for Mileena's new costume, if the comics are anything to go by, then she won't be going the scantily clad / sleazy route, which would be great for a change:

Yeesh. Speak for yourself. When Mileena wasn't in MKDA, everyone I knew in real life, and via forums were mass sending emails to Midway with the most rude slurs I've seen since I spent my time on Gaia Online.
Though it's practically 100% that she'll be here. She's an icon and a survivor.
I can't tell you anything though, I don't know anything whatsoever.
 
I really hope we don't get stuck at 6 compared to 20+ males.
2 more and one of them being Tanya would be great!
 
I think if the roster is stuck at 28, then we more than likely will only get 6 females. Same as MK 9 :( I'll be honest, when I first heard the release of MK X, I was 85% sure Tanya would be in, but knowing the direction they're taking the storymode, I simply can't see her fitting in. However, look at someone like Sheeva or Baraka who had very little story mode roles in MK 9, so I had hoped they could squeeze Tanya in anyway possible.

The only thing I'm holding out for is Tanya making DLC. I know there was a lot wanting her as DLC in MK 9, so I'm hoping this time around. Also if Li Mei might have a tiny role in MK X, then I hope she may make DLC too. I really would love to see both Tanya and Li Mei, it feels so long since we've had them in our hands

I don´t understand why Ferra isn´t never counted??? We have 7 females by now, and I really hope Tanya or another girl would be included... so be patient
 
Ferra isn't counted because she's nothing but a weapon. Nobody counted Noob Saibot's Shadow as an extra character in MK9
 
Ferra/Torr is the MK equivalent of a "pet handler" character (kind of like Galford and Poppy from Samurai Shodown). Ferra is the "pet" who will assists on occasion, but Torr is the character who does most of the fighting and takes all the damage.

The shadow was part of Noob. Ferra and Tor are two separate characters. For Roster numbers though, they should be counted as one since they are a duo.
