Omg.. You complain about every single flaw in MK:AK just be Great full and happy that they didn't neglect the project and patched it.

I dont know why they couldnt get it right this time...I mean all they had to do really is swap over the Midway Treasures Vol.2 if i remember that had MK2 Arcade Perfect and just swap UMK3 from the Mortal Kombat Deception Collectors Edition version and MK1? Well maybe from the PC of Midway Treasures and thats it you have a Perfect MK Arcade Kollection

MAT only had an arcade perfect MK2 if you don't mind not being able to fight Smoke due to the start button being mapped to pause with no way to change it, among other broken things.

Hey so they fixed the horrible gamma problems, made the widely requested "stretch" option available, and COMPLETELY overhauled the net code. But y'know.. The audio glitches in the MK2 attract screen so y'know. **** EM' RIGHT!?

wow. some of these posts are insane. well heres one that should shut all the complainers up. its YOUR fault for buying MKAK in the first place since MK9 released with some of the worst online code in history. desyncs, session no longer avail, horrible lag, cant use DLC because gamers didnt dl them. the list goes on. one thing about our generation is developers rely too much on patches and release unfinished games. MK is alot of fun now since the last patch but really, it took them how long to just make MK9 playable online? you get the point.
the reviews were horrible for MKAK yet you still bought it. how many times do developers need to screw you over before you say "im gonna wait till the reviews come out first to be safe"!!! in this day n age, you need to be careful. games are releasing at 75% finished now.
anything by bethesda, netherrealm, even skyward sword has bugs. wake up guys, you did this to yourselves. sorry but someone had to say it. damn
trmk is a great site, i doubt many of you could do better. chill out and take responsibility for your actions. you should direct your anger towards other ocean, wb and netherrealm. not the moderators. sue the companies who put it out. peace

MK2 on MAT2 and the version of MK1 on the MKD:KE disc had glitches galore. They were actually quite a bit worse than this collection. I think the difference is just that we accepted them more willingly back then due to that being the first time we ever saw those games emulated on home consoles (all we got before that was a bunch of ports with wildly varying quality).

Really? Cause i didnt see it..well maybe because i dont spend much time in the Arcades to get every single detail between the home consoles and the Arcade counterpart :/

Lol..first the US MK Fans get robbed by WB/NRS releasing a broken MKAK and us dumb asses that bought it assuming it was going to be a perfect MKAK and now the UK MK Fans gets robbed thinking this patch released was going to resolve all the MKAK issues lol MAN NRS and WB just made some CHING $$$ CHING $$$$ from all of us..and here we are sitting after 3 1/2 months of waiting patiently still with a broken MKAK how sad is that? Lol :/

They clearly have done nothing to patch it other than sort online out, add names to online, reduce gamma and add stretch, utter BS

Either way, Pat (nor Jeff) don't purposely share info that ends up being inaccurate. I am almost certain that it was going forward as planned when Pat posted the information.

You can get a better answer from Pat whenever he has the time to address the issue and exactly what happened but, again, it isn't his or Jeff's fault when information turns out different. They don't make the game, they don't make the decisions, they just report the info they are given. If anything changes, they aren't to be blamed.

In the meantime, chillax, peeps, I understand people are not happy, and it certainly is a disappointment, but let's all just cool down a little.

wait i thought pat played the game? I doubt he or anyone will amend the post, what they gonna do say " oh well the patch was trash." hell no that would affect their relationship with NRS. no more stickers or pretend friendship. These patch results were written by someone claiming to have played the game. Stupid i know and should have waited but this false info on sound caused me to waste money on the "patched" uk version. Its not just the mk 2 attract mode thats messed up its all the sound glitches from before, even pause glitch is in at times.

I reckon that the european version is the unfinished version of the patch.......

What would you all be like if the US patch was perfect or even the Xbox patch? yes i doubt this is true but its VERY strange how they got the patch along with their MKAK and we are still waiting yet it seems so unfinished. its defo not 3 months work for a 20 year old game. Also boon has still to give out his patch list hasn't he?. Those new features and fixes was what McCarron found himself i thought?. So i may be on my own here but im staying strong until i have the patch myself on the 360 i still have hope that the european patch was a total mistakee......
