This video is 100% legit! Patched version and everything! Unedited and uncensored, as a matter of fact! We already have witnesses such as OldschoolMK4life, gamemk, and Dedamn666 to confirm this! We as a community owe these 3 fine gentlemen more than anyone a debt of gratitude for exposing the patch for all to see!
And Pat told us that the issue shown in this video was already fixed in the patch, as you can see here...
Now where is Mr. McCarron for his rebuttal? Where is he to defend himself against the allegations of yellow journalism at best, false advertising at worst? And I don't care how minor any details are; false statements are still false statements!

Tarkatan, come to think of it I remember seeing your other posts and almost all of them were you unjustly burying NRS into the ground. I gave you your rebuttal before you even asked for one and you completely ignored it. You're deliberately spreading false information for no reason other than to start trouble, and it's embarrassing.
A normal person would have posted "yours is fixed Pat? Mine is still broken..." but you both took the low road instead. That doesn't mean you don't have a right to be upset but I guarantee you this isn't the way to go about it.

Pat's only human. Knowing him, he wouldn't intentionally lie to everybody. It was a genuine mistake.
Regarding the late patch, WE ALL thought it was going to be released tomorrow. It all started from Boon's tweet that he was hoping for the patch to go live yesterday night. All Pat did was turn it into an article to inform the MK Kommunity.
And seriously, just an audio issue? All the other fixed things in the game are a bigger deal than that. And who said there won't be another patch coming?

The owners of the site have NOTHING to do with what happens with the game.
Honestly, if you are going to get upset over this, at least get upset at the right people. Pat and Jeff have nothing to do with this. Something obviously happened that was beyond their control.
Both of them have pretty sweet jobs so they don't need to do anything to get a free copy of the game or a job at NRS

hugh! Im tired of patches we have been waiting paitiently for 3 1/2 months now for this to be fixed..this MKAK is useless and garbage, i say forget about this MKAK, and forget about your refunds cause it aint happening >¦\

Don't get me wrong, I'm pretty bummed as well at the length it took to get all that we received. But we're no game developers so we don't know what goes on behind those doors. For all we know, they probably had trouble/spent a long time trying to fix the game's netcode.

Pat and Jeff were still inaccurate in their reports, and they still failed to correct these inaccuracies! They brought on these allegations of lack of journalistic integrity themselves!

I don't know when he found out they were incorrect. I don't follow Pat's life so I couldn't tell you. I am sure he will update people when he gets the chance.
Either way, Pat (nor Jeff) don't purposely share info that ends up being inaccurate. I am almost certain that it was going forward as planned when Pat posted the information.
You can get a better answer from Pat whenever he has the time to address the issue and exactly what happened but, again, it isn't his or Jeff's fault when information turns out different. They don't make the game, they don't make the decisions, they just report the info they are given. If anything changes, they aren't to be blamed.
