Keep practicing with him and you will be pleasantly surprised when you start bodying people that have zero knowledge of the matchup against him. Even if people start to recognize how he plays he's still a pain to fight. A good Lex player is by no means a free fight.

But I started picking up Lex a little bit yesterday. I just went straight into online matches with only knowing one combo. I don't care about my record. Field experience is the best experience. The only combo I knew was B13~MB Pull, B3, JI3, 22~Close Mine. Which I need to work on the timing for B3 JI3 to be able to get 22 after. But even not knowing much, I managed to get two wins. People just don't know how to deal with his mind games, I love it. Having a mine, orb, and laser all up at once feels like this:

Any tips and BnB's would be appreciated, BassCass. I went on TYM but their combos are all MB Grav Pull, B3, JI3. Just with different enders.
 
I do mostly MB Gravity Pull myself unless the first part of the string is blocked , but you could try some of these:

JI2, F2, MB Gravity Pull, B3, JI2, B2, U3, Mine/Orb/Laser

Try this one in the corner:

J2, 2,2,D1, 1,1 1,1 U3, MB Laser , B2, U3, MB Laser, etc etc etc. until you run out of meter. Should take 1 life bar easily. Even if they wake up out of it I believe it trades.

My BnB is JI2, 1,1,3, MB Gravity Pull, B3, JI3, 1,1,Corp Charge

If the other player really doesn't know Lex at all then you can do any good damage combo and end it with Far Mine. Then you can either JI3 or Corp Charge them into the mine to eat another 40-50%.
 
Yeah I think it'd be a better idea to end with 11~Orb/Mine instead of Corp Charge.

But....

36%: JI2, 113~MBGP, B3, JI3, 11~CC (your BnB)

Refined with a low starter and more damage..

38%: JI2, B13~MBGP, B3, JI3, 213. It's 2% more but pushes them full screen. Yours leaves them at about half screen. So I guess either ender is good depending on what you want to do.

40%: JI2, 21~MBGP, B3, JI3, 213.

Instead of 113, B13 is a low starter and gives the same amount of damage for the combo. B13 is also only -4 on block. 113 is -25.

I think I refined yours to be a little bit better. The starter is 11 frames less negative and it also adds 4% extra damage.

40%: JI2, 21~MBGP, B3, JI3, 21~CC

When do you throw out Lex's specials to make them safe or at least more safe? Like with Green Arrow I use 223~Load for a safe arrow load at the end of the combo. Doe he have any hard knockdowns? That could be useful for a laser setup. I'm playing through Classic Battle on Very Hard right now with Lex. Just did the corner combo on Bane. 22D1, 11, 11, U3~OS.
 
Back in the lab with Wonder Woman after a month of shazam and catwoman training. Damn it feels good to be back. I feel like Jordan when he came back wit da four five.
 
Not sure if I want to play Lex. It's just too much of an uphill battle that's not even worth the effort. Every time I go to throw something out or put up armor, I get projectiled out of it.
