Even if they are advanced it's really hard to block cause of the mindgames

They need to fix tha....oh wait "normalize" that. It should push Doomsday back after the hit unless Meter Burned.
 
I don't think it should, It's a Mix-up and you can always push block it, but then again Push block against DD with meter isn't a good decision.

He could always just MB charge back in, and I think the Hit box on charge is so good that you can't jump over it on read. I dunno, gunna check and see.

D1 xx ES shouldn't be a true block string, I think you should be able to D1 out of it or at least trade with it.

I doubt they'll fix it in the next patch, and the new character is being revealed this Week. I'd flip shit if it's Zatanna or Poison Ivy. I'll try super hard on Thursday Night Survivor for that free DLC :laugh:

Teleporting doesn't work that well in 2D fighters that aren't a part of the VS series, especially in a game that has shitty movement and has back to block.

I hope NRS buffs the walk speed and reduce the recovery on dashes, the game feels too stiff. Maybe we can cancel out of dashes with Normals like in MK9 and every other fighter, that'll speed the game up a little and ups the footsies aspect of Injustice. Cause right now It's just about spacing people out so that your normals hit, whiff punishing is almost non existent, and Dash up D1 is useless to start up pressure like you could in MK9.

But that's just how I feel though..

I know you've been complaining about the movement like a BassCase(:rolleyes:) since day 1 but you're right.
By the time I dash I get stuffed by MB Laser or whatever.

Yup, you have to freakin' walk backwards and read more lasers thus giving the Keep-away character more space to work with because someone thought it was a good idea to add a Mini Mix up in traveling projectiles. He can even delay MB lasers too, so it's a Mix up within' a Mix up. I don't even know if it's a Mix-up anymore, there are no mind games in it. Yolo lasers all day and you build a 2 frame super in 10 seconds..

I think the block stagger is a dumb mechanic too, I should be able to move forward after guessing right on a MB laser.

I'm sorry, the salt runs thick in my blood right now.

Superman wouldn't be so bad if he didn't have the Heat Zap. That's a full screen mixup right there because even on block it does the same amount of damage as most projectiles do on hit. But it has the nearly the same animation as the Laser, so if you crouch, there's a chance you'll get hit with the overhead.

If only he made a noise to indicate that it was a difference between the two moves
 
I'm trying to justify my use of Doomsday. Dude is easy mode as funk, so much so that people are starting to use him against me when they see my name pop up in Ranked. I usually beat them because they think his whole gameplan is Earthshaker Shoulder Charge, but it's still close :laugh:

But there is a simple solution to the Heat Zap/MB Heat Vision mixup. Once a Heat Vision laser hits you, stand block. You have more than enough time to stand up before MB can be applied.

MB Heat Vision does do a bit of damage on block. 4.88%. But it's not that strong compared to some others.

Batarang MB: 4.51% and if you're close enough another one can't be avoided. I've won matches by doing multiple in a row for a max possible chip damage of 18.04%
Bolt of Zeus MB: 5.63%
Pump Shot MB: 4.13% and 5.63% with trait.

Simple bich, it is quite elementary.
It was the same with Scorpion, once I realized that I would run to him when my mains would fail, I knew there was a problem.


Superman player bopped my Wanda earlier today, I mean he hit her with that good shit. Not just some spammer. I get the runback and almost perfect him with Doomsday.



Should clarify though, I don't just spam with DomDom. I make reads, try to get some setups, optimize damage, all that good shit.
 
I can't believe I'm saying this but Shazam is actually more fun to use than Wonder Woman. Granted, he has a lot of problems and bad match ups, but he's a beast once he gets in his rhythm of command grabbing.

It's still B2+3 for life though8-)
