well i could give you an exact answer in 2 seconds and i HAVENT been working on the game for the past 2 years so...

You're really that short-sighted, Boon wants some leeway so that crazy fans do not blame him later for saying it was 25 when it was in fact less..the guy is working on a game, in the middle of many things, while you just have to focus on the select screen you've seen a gazillion times by now..

I doubt any of them will be playable.

I would have liked Reiko to be in but now that we know the full roster and many of my favourites are left out I'm not caring much about him anymore. Havik is as lame as it gets, so big NO to him.
 
25 + 2 unlockables + 1 boss( unplayable) = Happiness :)
Only 25(including boss and unlockables) = Disappointment :(

Kittelsen saying, whether they are in the game or not, it's all good. Doubt they are in the game, Shinnok is probably boss and the unlockable along maybe with Liu Kang. Small hope for one surprise, since MK has always had them, even in this day and age with leaks all over the place.
 
Shinnok hinted at the begining of the story mode, he is boss i accept, remember all of the story trailers of past mk games, bosses always hinted at the story trailer like Shao Kahn, Onaga, Blaze, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung etc. I thought Reiko or Havik will be the bosses before but it is too late Fujin :) Just a few days to release of MKX. Shinnok is coming and to be honest He is really badass now.

Same. I hope for at least the unlockable character we get surprised. If we just get Liu Kang or Shinnok then a lot of us will need a support group XD
 
Haha it's final alright ;) Shinnok and Goro the only ones not in from the start, the former unlockable #1. On the one hand I hope he's the boss so Fujin is the possible other unlockable. On the other hand, I hope the boss is still a surprise!!
 
Agh, I really hope the character tiles look different by release, i'm really not feeling the lineup of mugshots :(
