Roster screen not final

They should be able to easily edit the UI in a patch accompanying DLC, so adding/removing/editing roster slots shouldn't be a problem - and we know they've done this several times with test builds. Personally I'd like every character to have their own proper slot on the roster, and not be in pull-out menus.

And i think this the route they are going. They did it with injustice. The pullout menu is tacky and it looks so much better with everyone having their own slot.

I think Goro will open up a bar that will cover other squares somewhat like mk9. Not to mention they have never touched Goros square in any kombat kast. Yet it could just be a picture to be like hey GORO here. This could be the final starting screen, a patch could open or add others for future. As for a 3rd row I can see it, I don't see them leaving MKX after one Kombat Pack and then just filling it with costumes.

just 2 rows dosent look nearly enough characters.

people are used to pretty big rosters in fighting games nowerdays

the characters having 3 variations isnt enough to justify such a small oster.

The 3 rows just looks so much more natural on screen, 2 rows looks underwhelming especially for a next gen fighting game.

there will definatly be a 3rd row for dlc at least, the real question is how big is the ro gunna be/?

im hoping for full screen 39 characters at least

I mean I don't wanna be that guy... But MK9 had 27, 32 with extra characters. Right now MKX has 25, 29 including DLC. Plus given the three variations there's actually a lot more choices in this one. AND you gotta figure well be getting a second DLC pass for 4 more eventually.

That being said I do hope there's 1-3 characters that they are keeping secret. Fujin Havik and rain maybe (based off comics and leaked footage). I like reiko but his role is seemingly less and less in the comics so I think he might bite the dust soon. Possible a DLC in the next pack

EDIT: I meant screenshots from trailers, not leaked footage (I'm not holding out on you guys! ;)

I'm all for more characters to be added, but I doubt theres gonna be a third row. BUT, i can see another row of unlockables and DLC over the random select spot, kinda like MK9s setup

Is this a small roster, or are you just uninformed?

Street Fighter 4 had 19 characters when it came out, and that includes all bosses and unlockables. Killer Instinct has 14 characters. Injustice had 24 when it first came out.

im thinking more along the lines of marvel vs capcom. 36 characters then later added another 12 characters. total 48 characters

and Tekken tag 2 with 49 characters
