your only thinking of mk. im thinking more on the lines like hunger games comic films and even video game movies. people dont understand just because something works in a novelization dosent mean what is depicted in that novel will transition 100% perfectly to the big screen for the movie adaptation. thats why books and film are entirley 2 different things entirely.
for example look at green lantern and fantastic 4. can you honestly say the exact comic image of parallax would work? or galactus wich is a more than just a giant but a freaking humanoid world eater?
rumors right now is that doomsday is in this 2015 man of steel 2, now can he work? maybe but for the film theres a 99.9% chance there going to change him to something that fits with the world they are creating. he could work but he could also suck big time and he may very well be a charachter that cant be transitioned to a cinimatic live action movie universe.
back in 2010 bioware confirmed a mass effect movie and guess what? it is in creative hell simply because it very well can be one of those films that cant be done correctly. i mean think of the weaponry . black hole grenades multiple versions of cry ammo fire ammo ect plus it has nothing to do with shepard so yea in a way i myself am glad it wont see the light of day for a wile at least.

Replicating visuals from video games and comics is doable in films, given the right crew and budget. Star Wars depicted some farfetched technology, and that film debuted in the '70s, during a time when special effects and CG weren't as sophisticated as it is today; I don't see how technology in Mass Effect will be much of an issue. Discrepancy in visual design have more to do with the creative liberties (or lack of attention to detail) taken on the director's part than just technical limitations.
The hard part is putting the scenes together to form a cohesive narrative. Novels can be tricky for authors who express abstract ideas, appeal to senses other than hearing or seeing, or scope of writing too big to condense in a film. For comics, the scenes are more or less visually laid out already, although the superhero films tend to capture the essence of the character and leave everything else to open interpretation. It's a toss up with video games as they vary greatly in form and function; most video games make for poor source material though.

Had to take my mom to the hospital because she was short of breath on Wednesday, now the f***ing doctor says that she'll have to stay until Monday and possibly through Christmas.
I will f***ing slap a b**** if she has to stay at such a shitty place on Christmas, rather than being home with her family.

My girlfriend's parents keep making her feel like crap because she is going on a trip with my family ad I for Christmas.

i can relate to your situation in a sense but i wont give details since i dont have all the information and its something i dont want to mention online. lets just say im scared shitless and im in therapy for it. i guess what grinds my gears about that situation is there is nothing i can do to help fix it........ its bad. very bad

I'm sorry to hear that. Here's one way I can help you. Make sure that the head of her bed is up. I mean, I don't know her diagnosis and medical history but always for all patients who have shortness of breath, HEAD OF BED UP around 45 degrees. Just double check with her nurse and/or doctor. Also, NEVER eat/drink while laying down flat (that goes for all of us). Aspiration risk and the food/drink can go to the lungs. Also, don't let her get stressed out. You too shouldn't get stressed out as much as possible. Also, if Shortness of breath is happening, the nurses might have an order of oxygen for her. That would help too. If you have a pulse oximeter (it's a machine that you put in the patient's index finger), you can see her oxygen saturation (or O2 sat). It should be above 90%. If belove 90, let her nurse/doctor know. Another thing you can do is count her respirations. Have a watch with the arms pointing at the hour, minute, and second. One respiration is when her chest rises as she inhales. For one minute count how many times the chest rises. That will be the number of her respirations. The range of respirations should be about 16-20 I believe. You don't really need to do these but for you to monitor your mom, it would help. Usually, nurses, CNA's, caregivers, and doctors can do these when they visit/check your mom.
Another factor is if she's in any pain. Pain = High Blood Pressure, High Pulse, and/or Fast Respirations/Shortness of Breath. Also, look for her facial expression (grimacing) and moaning. Those are signs of pain too.
I hope those help.
This is the pulse oximeter I use. It's from Walgreens and it's about $52. It's also the cheapest I know.

When my own family who lives about 50 miles away gives me the run-around about Holiday plans. My aunt is going out of state to spend Christmas with her boyfriend's relatives. I was ORIGINALLY told that they were planning on celebrating on December 28th, and I have other relatives coming in from the Dallas/Ft. Worth area I haven't seen in some time for New Year's, so I committed to that. Well, on Thanksgiving, the relatives who wanted to do Christmas on the 28th apparently changed the schedule on me to New Year's...after I had already made other commitments on New Year's. Even after I told them straight-up I had other plans for New Year's, they STILL show no signs of changing that schedule. I find it sad and insulting that these relatives will accommodate for my aunt's schedule, yet WON'T accommodate for mine, despite the sacrifices I make to go there. Additionally, they won't even return my calls or my messages.
I swear, if they continue this shit, I'm going to unwrap ALL of the gifts I had bought for them and send them to Goodwill and/or the Salvation Army (including my 5-year-old cousin's gifts) to send them a message that this kind of bullshit will NOT be tolerated, especially during a time when family values are to be held to the absolute highest standard! It ain't nice, but I've got to get the message out on how seriously I take this shit somehow...I mean, if they're not going to be grateful for the sacrifices I make to spend time with them, and they're going to accommodate for one relative's schedule but not another's, why the f*** should I give them a damn Christmas present?!

USPS grinds the fvck out of my gears. They NEVER deliver on time. Supposed to get my Evoker today but NOPE. The mail man is too busy smoking cigs in the USPS car to give a shit. Fvck that guy and fvck USPS.

Fvcking furious right now. My $150 Tritton Headset decided to stop working for no reason at all.
I played P4A with my friend last night over skype and the decoder box lights would turn on for 1 second then shut off. Tried restarting the thing and it worked. Now today I turn it on and the same problem and now the restarting wont work. Pisses me off to no end. What a waste of god damn money. If I knew these were going to stop working FOR NO REASON when I bought them, I wouldn't have bought them and instead kept on buying shitty Logitech $30 earphones since those actually work decently.
