Anyways,

Let me ejaculate a comment or two: I'm reading a few classicals, obviously they are going to influence me. And I only speak that way when i wanna be a prick, get in an argument, or at speech/debate and Model United Nations.

In any case, i said i hope it was down for a month because i'd prefer Sony makes their new code idiot-proof. Exactly. How does that make you feel? I wasn't even trolling, i simply didn't intricatelly explain my reasoning.

Furthermore, I think too many high school and college students WASTE countless hours. Allocating your resources efficently is of paramount importance in this day and age. I'm not saying what Check does is a waste, he posts videos, contributes, and makes gamers change their undergarments, but idiotic, "DUDE WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH MY LIFE NOW???" noob spammers need to do something. anything.

The members as well as the moderators should not make decisions based on fundamentally flawed reasoning. Assumptions are very unprofessional.

Gosh I was just so mad at how God awful Sony's online service is that I went out and bought the unfathomably better Xbox 360 console, a copy of MK to go with it, and paid $60 for the year of clearly superior online. Hooked it up, turned it on and got ready to enjoy multiplayer the whole night. $450 later:

"The Mortal Kombat servers are unavailable at this time."

FUUUUUUUUUUUU...



(A partly true story only slightly sarcastically exaggerated by Terry Masters (already had a 360, already had MK and already had Live.))

Meh, lying makes the world go round. Although it was pretty damn obvious what my ulterior motives are, you can't deny the fact that if I had been some altruistic sap, I could have used that as an excuse.

I could understand PSN being down for a day or two, but going onto a week now, it really is starting to irk me.

If people really are running out and buying Xbox's over this, then, LOL. Sorry, that is a little extreme.

I do hope PSN comes back soon, I'm craving some online MK gameplay badly. I just hope this outage hasn't turned away too many players for good.

I don't get into CONSOLE WARZ~!, but as a 360 guy who was a little peeved over all the extras PS3 players got I have to say this really sucks for you dudes and lady dudes with PSN. It's really inexcusable that something like this can be going on for so long, and the longer it goes the more suspect Sony looks in all this. Either they were so woefully lax in security that some l33t hax0rz totally destroyed their stuff, or something else is going on and they're in hindquarters protection mode. I don't know which one would be less embarrassing for them at this point.

Hopefully this gets resolved soon so we can all get back to the business of Fatality-ing everyone on the intertubes.

There's a difference between aptitude, intelligence, and behavior. Just because I behave like a moron and comport myself as though I was to the left of the IQ bell curve, it really doesn't mean I actually am, loll.

While it sucks that the PSN is down, I will admit, its kinda interesting hearing all the rumors floating around; some range from believable to just plain laughable.

Haven't bothered to read the 6 pages of no doubt flaming and waffle..

The reason is: hackers have been naughty and used dev kit ps3's and used the free online "wallets" developers get issued with and bought things for themselves to use on the psn network (rather than the developer only partner net online area) or something similar....

Was this mentioned?

OK, not into console wars and as a 360 owner, I am sad for all PS3 owners that their online network is down. I love games and gamers who love games and this sucks for everyone who can't get to play online.

That being said, was there ever a dispute that xbox has always had a better online experience hands down ???

Sony has been playing catchup ever since xbox 1 had an ethernet port. Microsoft has had much more time and experience over time with online services, and Sony basically copied evereything microsoft did in this area without paying the dues it takes to sustain a quality experience. Not hating, just the truth "as I see it". Suddenly that blu-ray player doesn't seem so valuable lol (In my opinion this is really the main thing that seperates the 2 systems) If xbox ever got a blu-ray player it's a wrap for ps3, especially with things like this happening.

Wow... Did they seriously wait a week to tell us this? I thought people were being a little extreme when they said that they were switching to 360 but wow... **** off, Sony. You ****ed up big time on this one. Seriously? A week to tell us that our personal information (INCLUDING OUR ****ING CREDIT CARD INFO AND ADDRESSES)may have been compromised? Wow. I'm seriously considering the 360 at this point. This is a most monumental **** UP

Thanks for the heads up, I'm not a happy camper. I was a little upset about the downtime but not the angry. I'm Effin' pissed now.... a chance our personal info was obtained making us susceptible to identity theft and credit card fraud.
