REVISION HISTORY
Revision 1.0 (12-07-2002): Added this Revision History section. After some more cross-referencing between the intro and the bios for Quan Chi and Scorpion, I fixed a few errors I had in the Quan Chi-Scorpion-Netherealm plot in MKDA (chapter 5). Added a "Deadly Alliance Storyline Notes" paragraph to intro section, and some other minor details to different MKDA plotpoints.
Revision 0.9 (12-06-2002): See intro for details on the evolution from the old "MK Saga" project into this newly-designed and reformatted guide.
Origins of this guide:
In 1997, I created a point-form compilation of the entire Mortal Kombat
storyline entitled "MK Saga: How It All Unfolded". It covered the
entire series up to and including MK4. With my consent, my old friend Jeff
Greeson, owner of TRMK, years later did an excellent job adapting that project
to function as the storyline portion of his article on the history of Mortal
Kombat, which was published by Gamespot.
After the release of Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance, I decided it was time to
revive and update this old project. First, I revamped the entire format and
updated it with the new storylines from MKDA. I've also made massive amount of
minor additions and corrections to the previously-known plot points.
The entire format was redone to accompany the release of Deadly Alliance, and
the new numbered reference system should make it easier to trace back each
storyline's history. Thanks to Jeff Greeson, Patrick McCarron, Jonathan Wilcox,
and everyone else who has contributed to TRMK over the years. Enjoy.
