Fair enough Critical. I honestly believe on average your going to waste more time quiting out during a fatality.
How longs a fatality on average? 15 seconds? It usually takes about 15+ seconds more to quit out of the game and for chat room to refresh etc, then an random amount of time to find another opponent.
As you say playing against people you know saves time if you dont do the fatalitys, but for example you face 8 people in a row to do fatalitys to you and you quit out during the fatality to save time, the chances are you will not save time against watching the Fatality, clicking yes and judging the next person agrees to play again, straight to character select for another game.
That is obviously quicker than, pressing start selecting quit, agreeing to leave the session, acidentally watching half of the fatality anyway, waiting for for the exit to load, chatroom to refresh and going through potentially countless declines(hell even staight up challenge accept) Is going to take longer than watching the fatality.
How many games could you have had quitting out and finding a new foe? Part of the game we cannot change, i just see no logic to quitting during a fatality on the grounds of saving time.
I dont think we can get a definitive answer to this either considering everyones MK9 online experience is different.
well your belief is person dependant.
IF you're a complete noob, you're gonna run into alot more fatality users than me. Because from my experience, The less skilled players are the ones that do fatalities every match.
The amount of times I run into someone who wins 6/10 matches against me that spams fatalities is really rare.
Not trying to toot my own horn here, but the lower level guys from my experience spam the fatalities, and lets be serious here.
I don't lose to those guys, so it's usually THEM that quit on me.
most of the time I find someone better than me. 90% of the time they will jab kill me or use blood code with me.
It's pretty rare when I run into someone who does a fatality evertime in chat rooms.
now when it comes to RANK matches. I always just quit out. there is no "retry" scenario. and no chance to do blood code. and i can generally quit out faster than they can come hit me.
and no I've never sat halfway through a fatality to leave. You can't pause the game during a fatality. You have to pause it during "finish her/him"
and by that time you can easily quit out usually the exact split second they start it or not.
and it depends on the fatality and how long you sit there waiting for them to do it. It can add up to more than 15 seconds man. try around 30. from the time they hit you with the last hit.
and that's not counting if they jump around like a monkey first.
The only time I eat up a fatality and hit retry, is if my opponent is so much better than me. That I can learn something, and quitting out is counter-productive despite the time wasted in fatalities.
But those cases are really rare for me.
MOST serious high level players. end the matches quick with no blood code.
