Former Stone Temple Pilots/Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland tragically lost his long battle with drug addiction last night (at least we assume it was because of drugs due to his well-documented demons). In memory, I post this song.

Congratulations to Deep Purple for FINALLY making it to the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. After being eligible for 23 YEARS, mind you.


And for those of you who have the audacity to dismiss Deep Purple as a "one hit wonder", Penn has a special message for you.

RIP Motorhead as well. Drummer Mikkey Dee just confirmed that Motorhead is no more. I'm not surprised that it was Lemmy's passing that ended Motorhead, because there is absolutely no way you can replace Lemmy in that band.

And this is the third member of Motorhead to die. In 2011, it was former guitarist Wurzel (whose tenure in the band was the only time Motorhead was a 4-piece band). Last month, it was former drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor (who, along with Lemmy and "Fast" Eddie Clark, was part of the Classic Lineup).


It was once said that if Motorhead moved next door to you, your lawn would die.
