i ****ing hate john morrison that ****ing ripoff. jim morrison would be ashamed thats what his name turned into, and john cena what a loser the same shit every match.i'd rather have green as grass maison ryan back then to have ever known who john cena was. Cm punk is not the new stone cold, Cm punk is Cm punk.

Actually, they are using the template that made Stone Cold into something huge with CM Punk.

1. Have him be edgier than everyone else, Austin was the first guy to use "hell", "damn", and "ass" on a regular basis on WWF programming and it made him stand out when everyone else had to settle for threatening to "kick your butt" in promos. Flash forward to today's PG WWE programming and how CM Punk can talk about Stephanie having HHH's balls in her purse. They have been easing the restrictions on the PG stuff as of late, but Punk clearly gets the ok to go further than pretty much everyone else in terms of what he's allowed to say.

2. Have an authority figure throw roadblocks to try to keep him from being champion. Vince threw everything but the kitchen sink at Austin to keep him from winning the title, and it got the crowd to back him despite the fact that Austin really never stopped acting like a heel. Now we have some combination of HHH/Steph/Nash/Johnny Ace keeping the title away from Punk (who never really stopped acting like a heel), and he's getting the loudest reactions of anyone on the show.

As an added bonus, Hunter can still perform so when they build to the eventual match vs Punk it won't be as much of a stretch as it was when they finally had to have Vince vs Austin in a match. I never really bought that Vince (as jacked as he was) stood much of a chance in a match against Stone Cold. Since HHH isn't too far removed from his full time wrestling career, it won't be straining credibility.

they are trying to make john cena into the next hulk hogan so what do we care. why is it now that everyone has a problem with wwe copying other wrestlers?

I dont have a problem with it but I do have a problem with how predictible both shows have become.

Punk complained about things being "status quo" when Cena got the new championship days after he left. Which is true.

Status quo also = "quitting/getting fired" and coming back less than 2 weeks later (which was both Punk and Cena), and not defeating the almighty Cena clean once in the three times they've fought so far.

I'm really glad I'm not the only one who can see the storylines coming, again, already. Or am I, cause that's kind of a bad thing... I will give Punk credit, because that whole "face to face" bit where he brought up Chris Masters was commendable. Someone absolutely needs to get Laurinaitis off TV though.

you know what would shock the shiz out of me is if punk brought back batista to help him with nash and triple h talk about being shafted and ripped off. tho jade might think punk is superman, don't think he can take nash and hunter alone? "no" (yes jade it pains me to say that) sad face :(

Wrestling has always been predictable to a degree. The NWA had a dominating heel champion with the good guy chasing him for nearly 20 years. First it was Harley Race in the 70s, then Ric Flair in the 80s. The WWF always had a good guy with the belt fending off all the evil challengers. It's been that way their entire history, Bruno Sammartino was champion for 7 straight years. Then it was Pedro Morales for a couple of years, Bruno again, Bob Backlund for several more years, Hogan, Rock/Austin, and now John Cena. If you really stop to look at it, they've been booking this way since 1963.

Well that's because Hogan had his run during a time where wrestling was sorta in it's "dark ages" I guess and help bring wrestling into the public eye. Plus Hogan is more charismatic and livelier than Cena, sported an easy to remember, iconic look, and when the fans got tired of him, he switched it up and joined the NWO. Cena has just remained stagnant over these years, never losing cleanly, doing comebacks in a match where he was getting smashed on and uses 5 moves to win (I realize Hogan was kinda the same way).

Honestly, I prefered Cena as "The Doctor of Thuganomics" when he was MUCH more entertaining and even though he was a heel, his gimmick was pretty outlandish and funny which made it easy to be a fan of him in like 03 and stuff. Plus his rap battles with the other superstars were funny as hell.

I don't realy want to see a CM punk rivalry with kevin nash
I enjoyed watching Del Rio beat up Cena though(sorry that I like Alberto but I've been watching him and his dynasty since I was a filyp)

so I used to like kharma when she was in the WWE, but I think they should put her against males when she comes back, nobody likes seeing a male vs a regular bodied female unless the male is a heel and the female kicks his ***,
but this one could realy make interesting and credible matches

Kharma = new Chyna?

They are building up Beth Phoenix and Natalya as the new bad asses of the women's division, and those are two who I can see matching up well with Kharma when she gets back.

Why would they want to make everyone the same?

ok mabey 50 is a big leap but they should do this with like 2-4 people on each show. they need to spread it throughout the show so the whole 2 hours is worth watching. some people will only watch the first and last 15 minutes because of this.

that reminds me AJ is insanely cute but can she go one match without getting pinned after the first move on her?
and what happened to this kind of wrestlers in wwe?

I don't think Punk is Superman....but Nash is not a challenge, he is a big, old, slow wrestler. HHH is more of a challenge and **** Batista.
