Sonya instead of Mileena. Which pretty much guarantees the leak is bunk. There is zero chance of Mileena not being in this game. Who the hell is Kotal supposed to go up against if not her?

Fixed. Additionally, two of the 3 were leaked by a few slips of the tongue by official sources, up to and including Ed Boon (a slip of the tongue by Boon himself konfirmed Raiden before a reveal came out).

Err... how can the only remaining "returning character" slots be LK, Sonya, JC, but Mileena is included? Maybe I missed something.

I thought that you were talking about the 4chan "leak" which did include Mileena.

Ah, yeah. Well, that "leak" doesn't even warrant discussion at this point.

But the Kano/LK/JC/Sonya leak seems bogus too now that the number of remaining slots is down to the wire. Most of this game seems to be dealing with Outland's politics. How do you not include the only character with a legitimate claim to Outland's throne when that's the plot of your game? Lol.

True.

I see what you mean, but it does look like the roster isn't finished and it was said that they were going to try to get as many characters on the main roster as possible.
NRS said that the roster of MKX would be close to MK9's, and MK9 had 32 characters (including DLC).
If that's the case, we could end up with 28 characters on the main roster and another 4 to 6 as DLC.
Ed Boon did say that there would be 30-something characters, so the roster number doesn't really eliminate Sonya, JC and LK, IMO.
