Yeah the character select screen is pretty cool and gets excited for the next fight.

I still think that NRS will put in as many characters as possible.
As is evident by this version of the select screen (which has 25 spots and not 24), all that they would have to do is shrink the tiles a little bit to fit more characters.
I really don't think that that's a DLC tile, but I could be wrong.

Of course it can, I was just replying to him asking if they actually confirmed that we're getting more than 24, and they did not.

I personally don't think they will change the select screen, but they may do what they did in MK9 and have several characters share the same spot.

................. ooooooooooor they could also just make the select screen tiles scroll to the left, right, up or down for the DLC characters.

i agree even if the final is 24 that 12 old and new 12 new right there and 9 old ready reveal we have 3 going old more old to go so let just paient until the next reveal

Also has anyone noticed how the roster isn't really old characters on top and new characters on the bottom in this latest build, like others have suggested before.
They are mixed around.
Reptile, Kitana and Kung Lao are on the bottom row with the new characters, so it doesn't necessarily mean 50/50 split between old and new characters.
So, maybe it could be even be a mix of 16 characters that are either new to MKX or are from MK4 thru MKD (maybe 8 from each), and 12 old......... or viceversa.
We could get more old or more new in MKX.
