here comes the sh*t storm of comments on how dumb Anne Hathaway looks like in the Catwoman suit.. haha, up until the actual movie comes out then again it was the same way about Heath's Joker

besides that first close up pic of Ledger's face, people werent saying the joker was gonna look dumb at all
this image got everyone excited
also, this one released in 2007. People knew he was gonna be badass just by these pics
while I think these pictures of Hathaway that have been released look goofy as hell, I agree with you that once the film is finished everything will turn out fine and we will all forget about how bad these pics of her were.

Dark Knight changed opinions and everybody started saying how cool Ledger's The Joker really was, then the bandwagon came.. just by the pics, i see what you're saying people were saying what's up with the long line of make-up going across his (The Joker's) mouth was all about, in Catwoman's suit its cool how her goggles turn into Cat ears when she puts it on top of her head, The Joker just looks cool period if folks gave Ledger an ok to be Joker with their opinions and all at first it would be good its probably because most people were Marvel fans

I did originally question Heath Ledger, but the first picture I saw of him as the Joker shut me the hell up. The pictures of Hathaway as Catwoman, on the other hand, only continue to make me question this particular decision.
For me, I think part of it is that, in the context of this more realistic universe, the idea of a person's identity somehow being obscured by a tiny strip of crap over their eyes is ridiculous. A cowl might've worked out a bit better here.
Then again, it's Catwoman. How the **** do you keep Cartwoman from looking silly?

Wait, where the heck did it say that her goggles are her ears? I think she had goggles on because she was on the bike and they are an extra accessory, I don't think it is her ears....

I'm sure it will turn out ok. I have said before what I dont like about in the Nolan batman movies. But in the end they are still enjoyable.
And I'm glad they chose Bane to be the villain in this one. He's just a downright scary brute force villain that needs some attention. And hopefully because of this movie, Bane will forerver be reconized as a classic and we can hope to see him in more batman related things.
(didnt like him in arkham asylum though, too damn big)

It's gonna be good or it's gonna be bad. sit back and enjoy the wait.

EDIT:: personally I'm always interested in actors trying to play roles I don't think they can pull off. And hope they can.
Some actors I'd like to see in a different light. You know the fantastic 4 movie? Dr.Doom guy. I don't know his name but everything I've EVER seen him in... he's been evil or some angry guy. I'd like to see him as a nice guy once. Just to see if he can do it lol.

With the exception of catwoman (which I'm sure will work in fine), this movie looks badass! I'm so psyched to see tom hardy's portrayal of bane and how the story unfolds. There was an early screening of the six minute Bane prologue and everyone raved about how amazing it was so I have no worries. Its Nolan after all.

lol, they made three, and they made them more serious. I'd say it was a great idea to bring it back.
I think part of the problem with Batman is that it can be hard to make some of the characters dark enough to fit the atmosphere of the movies. I dunno, I just can't see Mr. Freeze in one of these movies....too 'cartoony' of a character, imo, but I guess they could try to make him dark enough to not be laughable.
