Street Fighter V announced, for PS4 and PC only!

Yay, another Cody fan. :D
I'd like to see Cody after he's done doing time in jail. I'd like to see his character develop a bit further this time around. :P

I really like his jail design, i remember everyone raging about him retaining his Alpha appearance for Street Fighter 4, but i was really cool with it because i like the costume, and after all, i really wasn't in position to complain since my favorite character was being added as a playable character. I'm not sure about him being out of jail by the time of Street Fighter V, i believe it takes place just right after Street Fighter IV, or 2 years AFTER that at most, but on the other hand, i would like to see him being developed as a character more, his storyline in Street Fighter 4 was the same as it was in Street Fighter Alpha 3, including his rival and his dialogue with said rival.

Don't get me wrong, I loved him in Alpha 3 and SSF4. His prisoner outfit is cool (and kinda hot too ;P ), but I much preferred his tanktop and jeans alt, and it's always bothered me that he never used his handcuffs/chain to anything (kinda like Birdie in the Alpha series).

Though Final Fight: Streetwise wasn't the best of games, I loved to see Cody being out of jail again and evolving as a character. I wouldn't mind if Streetwise became canon (don't know whether or not it is now) and the Cody we get in SFV (should he be in the game) to be after Streetwise. Same with Guy as well, though Kyle wouldn't be necessary. I really liked Guy's look in Streetwise, with the tattoo up his arm.

And Cammy's as well, who I also hope make a return to SFV, though I like her concept art with the camo-pants better.

Yeah, i agree on everything. But now you know they're not likely to change their designs, at least not until the alternate costumes come around. I didn't really like the Cody's design in Streetwise, because he kinda still looked like a prisoner/homeless (nothing wrong with that, but i personally feel it didn't fit the character). However, i REALLY liked his first 2 alternate costumes in Super Street Fighter IV, they were very well done. His Summer Vacation outfit wasn't very good in my opinion, and the Wild Animal costume was a disaster. But overall they did a good job with Cody and his designs in the Street Fighter IV series.

About Guy, his Streetwise design wasn't very different from his Final Fight 1 or Street Fighter appearances, which is good. As for Cammy, she lookd REALLY good in Streetwise, i was also ecstatic about her being in the game because she was my favorite female at the time. I think her classic outfit is kinda irksome, with the thong leotard and heavy boots, but i understand that's very iconic and recognizable, but i liked her Summer Vacation outfit the best, with the pants and all.

And as for the storyline, we'll see. After all, Cody's crimes weren't too bad and he wasn't jailed for life, so if he's coming back, he may be out of jail now! And maybe he'd team up with Guy again to fight the bad guys, which is what a lot of fans have been asking for (they already did it, although not canon, in Street Fighter X Tekken. If that's to happen, i'd rather him keep his bitter personality that he has as a prisoner!

Mothertrucking Bison is in the game. Honestly I am too happy. This gives me so much more motivation to play Bison harder in USF4.

Now of course Charlie is something cool to see since I kind of wrote him off when I first saw him. But, he looks pretty damn cool

Which Bison? Mike Bison, or the one that is known in certain regions as Vega?

I'm hoping V takes itself a lot more serious this time around. I hated how light hearted IV was. Chun Li is an Interpol agent but yet she sounds like a tweenie bopper: "You ready for this?" I cringe every time I hear her say that. She seems more mature in this trailer though. That's a good sign.

What happened to Charile? Is he a cyborg?

EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

:vroam:

If you don't have at least 80% of the cast on SF you doing it wrong

As much as it is a travesty to play Japanese fighters with English voices, I can't say I'm surprised that people do it. If you're given the option, people are gonna use it, due to the fact that not everyone likes subtitles.

Personally I think it takes away from the authenticity of the game. It's like watching a Wushu/Chinese Martial Arts movie with an English dub, ruins the complete experience, but people don't care and still do it.

I got DOA5: Last Round last week and the first thing I did was set the voices to Japanese. I refuse to even hear what the English voices sound like in the game.

I don't know, man. The English voices in Guilty Gear Xrd and Dragonball Xenoverse sound fine to me. And both of them are Japanese fighting games.

They may sound fine, but like I said, to me it just "Westernizes" the experience, so to speak.

I'm tolerant enough of dubs in general, but there are instances like this that me cringe

I don't like all original voices either; Teddie's Japanese voice in Persona 4 makes me want to strangle him.
