Street Fighter V announced, for PS4 and PC only!

I only caught a glimpse of it.

Looks cool even for development wise. Lol that bowl would not leave Chun-Li's head.
Saw some third strike moves in there as well(aka Ryu's cr.mk and Chun-Li's st.hk)

Does SF play like MvC3? Sorry if I seem dumb I've only played one Capcom game (MvC3)

No, there are quite alot of differences.

MvC3 have 4 attack buttons. A Light, a Medium and a Hard attack, along with a Launcher which hits the opponent up into the air for aerial combos. And you can make easy combos by pressing Light-Medium-Hard-Launcher in sequence, then jump in the air and repeat.

Street Fighter has 6 attack buttons. Light, Medium and Hard punches and Light, Medium and Hard kicks. The Light-Medium-Hard sequence combos aren't in SF and there aren't as much opportunity to make aerial combos either.

What they have in common are Special Moves and Super Moves, but they too work a bit differently.

Are the special moves as hard as in MvC3? Took me a million tries to get one to work lol

They are performed in the same manner, yes.
For example:
Down, Down-Forward, Forward + Attack is called a Quarter Circle Forward or QCF for short. It's how you make Ryu throw a fireball, for example.

That's too damn hard.

Hehe, well, then you should try play a King of Fighters game. Some of their Super Moves had to be done like this:

Down, Down-Back, Back, Back-Down, Down, Down-Forward, Forward + Attack. Quarter Circle Back then Half Circle Forward + Attack. XD

I dunno, I guess since I've played these games all my life, I'm used to it. On a D-pad though, can't do fighting games with an analog stick or a fight stick. :P

Parries coming back are the best news so far imo. I just hope
they don't consume meter, or something like that... Parries
just give awesome options, and have great potential. Remember
Daigo the beast. :)

This is why I don't branch off to other fighting games outside of MK.

Dude, I try them. But some fighting games have a level of complexity that completely shuts me off. I play Soul Calibur as well, but I can't get into a fighting game competitively and memorize 45 hit moves. I just like MK because it is easy for filthy casuals like me to jump in and enjoy.

The people who play fighting games at particularly high level make up a smaller percentage of the population. Also, some players simply choose to delve more into some games than others.

Most modern fighting games have more lenient inputs compared to their 90s counterparts. Although the input commands for SF has remained the same, the newer iterations like SF3 don't have the strict timing or precision required for SF2.

That's too damn hard.

They are pretty tricky but I can do most of it. Only thing though, I'd get blister in my finger because I like the D-Pad better than the joystick. That's why gameplay wise in button configurations, MK is the best for fighting games. Second is Injustice.

The 16 character rumor was suppossedly a mistranslation. Anyway, i'm hoping for Cody's return. Glad Charlie's finally back!

Yay, another Cody fan. :D
I'd like to see Cody after he's done doing time in jail. I'd like to see his character develop a bit further this time around. :P
