Am I the only person here too lagged to get it on PS4? I'm waiting til june to get it on PS3.
I'll rebuy it for PS4 to play with most of TRMK and kick everyone's ass with Tanya later in 2016.

i know that doesnt mean he cant come back unless liu and kitana doesnt alow it to happen and you about dark raiden talking king liu and queen kitana

Yeah, Ermac has that ticking time bomb quality about him, where Shao Kahn and King Jerrod and Jesus are all apart of him and somehow that always gets totally glossed over each time. He has the potential to be both an incredibly powerful, and deeply interesting character. A being like that would have mixed motivations, second thoughts, inner conflicts. At least he has the now most brutal fatality of all time.

Yeah, I know raiden becomes dark, didn't really bring it up because I think by now everyone knows.
Though I do love how he replaced his earthrealm medallion with the amulet, that's kick-ass.

Yeah, baffles and bothers me to no end. Considering those two are among the most popular and iconic characters in the franchise, you'd think NRS would bother giving them a story but nope. They are just the punching bags.
I wouldn't mind it if Reptile's story in the next game (provided he appears...I didn't even expect him to show up in this game) was about resurrecting his race as long as we finally see him actually doing something. And by something, I mean starting an actual quest to restore his race, not just lick the balls of any authority that promises him to revive them.

Baraka and Sheeva also got the shaft, and those two might be gone for good.

I was surprised to see Ermac turn on Mileena so quickly.
Though, glad to say that Tanya and Rain broke Mileena out a bit later. More of a reason to love Tanya for contributing more to the story.
 
Weren't they making a big deal about Reptile's character on a stream? I remember hearing that his wardrobe change is "super important" in story mode or whatever..

Hmm, it looks painful, but i wouldn't say most brutal. It sure is getting overhyped.

They're not really that boring, I just talked about them boring. Lol.
To me, it was pretty boring, as I purposely added no charm.
But it's not boring to anyone else.

he just doesn't care anymore he flat said to liu and kitana if they atack eathrealm he will kill them no excues no peace this lead to believe they might focus on edeina next game with kitana wanting it back and merge with netherealm

Yeah, I think they said something about his alt being related to story or something.

Like I said, Ferra & Torr only have 1 appearance, but you'll love it. It's more memorable than Erron's four appearances combined, or Reptile and Ermac's three (a piece). Ferra sounds adorable when she speaks Torr's language.
 
To the people saying how can story mode be a make or break deal for mk because their are fans that actually enjoy character development and what happens to characters in the mk universe. if mk was just simply a just a fighting game their would be no bios or endings since mk 1.
 
Alright, No one is probably interested, but I felt I should mention, after doing a quick Tanya analysis, being an NPC, here's how she contributed to the story this time around (in mass detail):

-Tanya and Rain are co-op general ambassadors of the Rebellion army
-Tanya apparently freed Mileena from Kotal's captivity after she was overthrown (according to Kotal)
-Tanya saved Kano's life, and KO'd kotal for a few seconds.
-Tanya and Kotal apparently have troubled history from the dialogue they switched together in chapter 2.
-Tanya and Rain were charged with protecting the amulet in the rebel camp.
-Tanya led the tarkatan rebellion attack in Outworld at Mileena's command.
-Tanya defeated Cassie Cage
-Tanya was about to be murdered along with Rain, but Cassie told D'vorah to let her and rain live.

That's about it for her. She just vanished after cassie let her and rain live.
