We weren't. We were all agreeing that this whole thing is moronic. This is Mortal Kombat, a fighting game! Sexual orientation has little to nothing to do with the game. I mean the only relationship in the game is between Liu Kang and Kitana and they aren't even a thing. No sense was made this day. Lol.

P.S. Would these white knights really be happy if a straight character beat the tar out of a gay character? No, then they would complain some more and ruin the game by making it unbalanced. The nerve of some people.
 
I really wish that a lot of these 'activists' would just take a look at all that they have already WON in gaming. Looking at ONLY MKX, Cassie (and now Sonya in the comic) aren't wearing ANY revealing clothing. They are in Military black ops gear, just like how they wanted.

They literally changed everything that people didn't like about Kitana.

The only character that has sexualization in her outfit is D'vorah, and that is ever so slight.

Just enjoy the game and stop getting needy about making political statements in gaming all the time.
 
I just think sexual orientation should be left out of the game unless it is realevant to the story, but since this is Mortal Kombat it is going to be irrelevant most of the time. I have no issue with gays or whatever your race/ sexual orientation is, but leave it out of games if it's irrelevant to the story.

Edit: [MENTION=17743]rainreptile[/MENTION] Exactly! I don't get to enjoy Kitana's huge knockers anymore because of activists. What more are they gonna take away from my favorite game. P.S. Kitana is the love of my life and now I can no longer enjoy her cleavage. Thanks a lot activists.

I am in the camp that actually likes Kitana's new look, but at the same time, I had no problem with the old one. It's revealing clothing on a video game character, not the end of the world.

I can't agree more with you! The sexual orientation shouldn't matter in a game like this, but that is a thing activists won't understand, like the cleavage topic... i would like to perform a fatality to all those gender activists lol...
The real life problems don't have relation with the games, but for them everything is discrimination....

This goes for a lot of forums, but MKO is filled with some real dickwads.

For all we know there could already be a character in MK that is gay or lesbian (or anything else). They just don't flaunt it because, you know, we're all just trying to slice heads off.

Just giving a final word on the matter, not in the mood to argue. Regarding the LGBTQ thing, I think it's fine that fans of the series want representation in the media they actually like and give money, support, and continuation to. I mean think about it. Are you telling me in a universe with multiple worlds that the only fighters are going to be straight white or Asian people. I mean it logically makes sense for there to be diversity. Even though it is a fantasy world, it does have its own consistent set of rules and logic and judging from jax, genetic variation and diversity is a thing in the world. I can see where a lot of you are coming from, I'm an average old joe male mk fan but I don't think it's fair to disregard their case as moronic. Imagine if MK only had lesbian women in it. You'd feel kinda left out of the inhuman brutality.

And Johnny cage clearly shows his sexuality in the mk9 story so it's not like NRS chooses not to bring up that subject if they really don't care about it.
 
Plot wise, Reiko deserves to be the next character reveal seeing as the comics are surfacing his presence as a very important character and as you all know he was a character in MK4.
 
Or they could just take the Street Fighter route and make a character that implies they are bi sexual without outright saying it. All of Juri Han's winning quotes in that game are some kind of sexual innuendo regardless of whether she beats a male or female character
