I disagree, I think what makes Shujinko cool is the fact that he can use other characters powers. He has a lot of potential just around that idea alone

What do you mean by "last word"? Are you predicting that Shujinko won't appear in the comic again in the ten years leading up to MKX?

As for Daegon, Kittelsen's story could certainly veer in the way of a Takahashi family reunion down the line. If it does I would fully expect Daegon to become a prominent comic character well before then, so that the climactic resolution has weight for more than just Kenshi and Takeda.



The good news is it's conceivable that Scorpion will take a break once he beats the shit out of Havik. The bad news is this fight coming up probably isn't the one that wraps their story. It's just here to set up the fight that will wrap up their story.

It could be worse, though. Kittelsen can write the crap out of Scorpion, and importantly enough he's not above taking a couple of shots at the guy (his touchiness about any career defeats).

Ah, right. I should have mentioned that I'm not caught up.

The only condition for Shujinko is to have back that awesome voice of his.

With that he can comeback even with all of the other characters copied movesets.

Well, I sure hope not, at least not yet, I don't want these actually good villains get offed that easily, as much as I love Shinnok and Quan Chi, Reiko and Havik are much better written, and it seems like they make almost everything they touch better, so I have better hopes for Skarlet.

Before. They made it sound like it was happening in the very next chapter, and Gorbak's death was in the very next chapter IIRC, so it's pretty obvious they were talking about him and not Reiko or anyone else.

The continuity problem is that in the game that's when Mileena was deposed to begin with. The comic moves that event much earlier in the timeline.

That was during a flashback. Kotal, Reptile, D'Vorah and Ermac all betrayed Mileena at the same time.

You're cutting Kittelsen too much slack.

The stork that delivered Kittelsen to his parents as a child should have brought a complementary note with all the comic info. Anything else is literally shitting all over the MK franchise.

I think Shujinko really misses character in the comic series and that is what makes him so lame.

How about Kai? We haven't heard anything of that character anywhere in the alternative time line. He could have a role in the White Lotus, going to the netherrealm contacting Liu Kang and Kung Lao, and addressing to Raiden. I mean, I understand he is not in MK X, as he is basically Jax x Liu Kang, but he was not that bad to be left out. He is not a kind of meat.
