Well, then I guess your point about the military just nuking Outworld is also moot because we've never seen them use such weaponry in the various battles against Outworld even though we know they have it. Raiden could grab and teleport Shao Kahn just as easily you're claiming they could just lob a nuke through a portal.

Not really, given that the situation is pretty different with Kotal having him bring weaponry as the city is under siege. And it's just a phrase used in a lot of casual conversations like we're having right now, calm down. No need to be so uptight.

No, an assassination is not "1v1." Poisoning someone's drink is assassination, but definitely not not 1v1ing them. Neither would be stabbing Kotal repeatedly in the back and leaving him to die.

Nah. I've just pointed out how silly, cheap and contrived that moment is. If Kano can just appear outta nowhere and nuke someone in 1 panel, that makes almost everything pointless. I'm not the one coming out saying "WELL WHAT IF RAIDEN TOUCH SHAO KAHN?! HE DODGE KICKS AND TOUCH!".

I like how you're still so sure that Raiden touching Shao Kahn is somehow more impossible than Kano carrying a nuke everywhere he goes to use on everyone. Like p.W said, MK is full of lots of dumb, over-the-top things that don't really make much sense when you think about them; this nuke blaster just isn't worth singling out that much.

Also, given that bullets can affect all of these characters, I'd ask why Kano didn't get on a rooftop and snipe out Kotal during a speech or the like long before asking why he didn't drop a nuke on him.

There's a big difference between showcasing a power that you have (Kano), and something that you make up on a spot (Raiden). Unless nukes are exclusive to Kano only I don't see anything wrong with my questions.
At this point I don't have anything else to add, endless cycle of repeating the same stuff over and over again.

But that's the thing: teleportation is an ability Raiden has always had, not something just made up on the spot. He's been able to teleport himself and others across dimensions, so why wouldn't he be able to teleport Shao Kahn somewhere?

I didn't mean to be rude, i'm sure a forum is a place where we can share our thoughts and give away our opinions, but dude (Xenon), you're the first one who is actually disrespecting everyone's opinion by trying to make everybody agree with your statement about that "Kano using a supposed nuclear bomb" situation.

We're depending in some guy writing and telling a story here, and he's going to write and tell that story the way he likes to, if he decided that that so called bomb would work like that, then that bomb will work just like that.

Telling you "If you don't like it, then don't read it", i wasn't trying to be offensive, it's just that some times it is better to avoid things that make us get upset, that's all, some kind of advice.

I'd really appreciate if someone teach me how to "Thank" a post, i can't find the button, if there's one hehehe :) Thanks!

What does this have to do with anything I've said? The Elder Gods destroyed Shao Kahn, not Raiden, or anyone else.

Irrelevant. Did he use it against an enemy? Did he use it against someone like Shao? No. Therefore you're making up an ability that he never showed to posses. He could only teleport allies who were standing still and were providing zero resistance.

Kano didn't make up anything, he clearly demonstrated it, and since he's not a nuclear scientist, I doubt he invented it therefore it's not only exclusive to him.

You doubt that the nuke weapon is exclusive to Kano, I doubt that Raiden can't use the teleport on enemies.

See how that works?

The nuclear weapon fell out of a time traveler's wormhole, Kano picked it up, put it in a replicator that shat out 5 copies, and then the replicator was destroyed and those 5 copies are the only ones in existence and ammo is limited and the technology was too advanced for him to reverse engineer it and make another. In other words, no plans, no prototype, no back-up. Mystery solved. :)

I'm a long time MKO user as well (I go by redman) and I don't think the mods are all that bad. Killswitch certainly does his job well, he puts up with a lot of bullshit. Youve got trolls who constantly make shit threads just to get a reaction, I wouldn't say its all MKOs fault. Idk if its because its the first forum I ever joined, but I feel kind of protective of it in a way if that makes any sense haha. There are certainly a lot of flaws with the site currently, but it's not the worst thing in the world.
