I wouldn't say it's too late. There are still plenty of Resident Evil fans like myself who still have faith in Capcom, so we're eagerly waiting if they can redeem themselves. Resident Evil Revelations showed that Capcom still has an interest in survival horror.

So... I wonder who's the main character going to be?

Leon seems to bring them the most money lol.



EDIT: Just gonna say the LAST thing that scared me was the Regenerators from RE4.

I don't think you guys are getting another game. I heard crazy stuff about them taking the series and using it as a fashion line. And capcom is going more towards apps and stuff. Or I could be completely wrong...

Next Resident Evil game is going to be mobile only and it's going to star Shiva. It will have Batman Arkham style combat and the zombies will be replaced by mutants. And halfway through the game the mutants will be replaced by regular people who have the flu.

I have a feeling that Jake is going to return, since they didn't kill him off like Piers. It just seems like his whole campaign was to try to introduce the character and get the fanbase to like him, even though he was cheesy as hell. Especially since he's Wesker's son and all. I'm just curious if Capcom is ever going to bring back any characters from what I call "Resident Evil Storage." Characters that seemed to be just completely forgot about like Carlos, Rebecca, Nicholai, and Billy.

Especially Nicholai since it was never confirmed if Jill killed him or he escaped. I hate that shit.

Also whoever the new villain is, is probably going to blow chunks like Simmons, lol. I understand why Capcom killed Wesker off, but it still sucks.

The last thing to scare me in a Resident Evil game was Rachael from Revelations and the Comms Officer.

There was also in interview with someone that Critical told me about, where the guy slipped and mentioned that he worked on Resident Evil 7. Like AlphaOmegaSin said, Resident Evil is Capcom's cash cow.

You know to make it more survivor horror based at this point with the original characters would be a little tough. I mean after seeing Leon hold a huge BOW with one arm or Chris punching a boulder into a volcano.

It'd be weird to see them struggle with like just 2 zombies.

Perhaps they need to wrap up the arcs for current characters and start with some fresh newbies like solid snake to Raiden, sort of deal.

I agree. I know most want that nostalgic feeling, but times have changed, and more powerful bio-weapons are in the making. Plus, the OG characters can't do this forever, like how Chris originally said in Chapter 5. I think Leon and Chris is gonna be like mentor/advisors to the new generation heroes like Jake, Sherry and Sheva.

been playing RE5 vs alot lately, and i kicked butt , my team, 99 Combo, other Team a 2 combo, we whipped the floor, their score was like 10000, this was Team Slayers BTW, i used Bsuit Jill and my partner was STARS wesker

They're remaking Resident Evil 1 for ps3, xbox 360, xbox one, ps4 and PC. Well, they're remastering REmake or something

How do we tackle the zombies with Jill's shoulder without getting bitten. I'm playing it now.

REmake HD is so great, playing it on Xbox One. I haven't played it in years so it feels very fresh to me as I forgot where most of everything is. The graphics improvement is incredibly significant, and I'm on the fence about the new controls. I want to use the classic tank movement, but the new movement just feels so much more fluid.

It is AWESOME and it's a good game to play while waiting for Dying Light. However, why is it that after I get the "sword" Mansion Key and when I end up trying to unlock the right doors with it (and I'm pretty sure they are the right doors since I was looking in youtube), my PS4 would tell me "You cannot continue until your download is complete"?

I mean, my download is complete as far as I know and that there are no pending downloads in my PS4. When I look at the "notifications" in my PS4, it said that "Resident Evil can now be used" or something like that. WTF?

How come it won't allow me to move on???

(On the bright side though, I get to wear the BSAA outfit of Jill as a start if I want. It's more feminine than the original. :) )
