Watched 2 movies yesterday.
Lincoln ~ Daniel Day-Lewis was probably the best Lincoln I have ever seen. Anyway, the movie started out a tad slow but then started to get really good once the debates started (the movie is about Lincoln trying to pass the 13th amendment and end the Civil War). There were some parts where the acting was laughable (only two parts, though) and the movie was quite long so you do kinda find yourself asking when the end will come. Not really because the movie is boring or anything, it's just that you get to a part where you are like 'oh, okay, this must be the end' and then it goes to another scene of stuff happening.
7/10
Again, wasn't a bad film by any means, however, if you aren't in to American History, or even have a slight interest in the Civil War, you will probably get really bored of it. Not much action and a lot of political chat.
The Amazing Spider-Man ~ I liked it, but, it would have been better if there wasn't so much CGI and if they would stop making Spider-Man say fcking stupid shit like WATCH OUT, I'M SWINGING HERE as he slings his way through the city or WOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOO while swinging. He didn't do that shit in the cartoons or comics, man, just cut that stupidity out. This is why no one takes Spider-Man seriously. I know he's a kid in school but he doesn't have to act so lame.
I thought the cast was really well done, wasn't sure if I would like Andrew Garfield in the role but I think it was a little better than McGuire, actually. The Lizard looked alright, but, again, would have been WAY better if not so much damn CGI. He was pretty creepy, otherwise.
Appearance by Dennis Leary was a win.
