Cyrax = 9

Pretty dangerous character, very good for tournaments. Cyrax has so good tools to use, he is more or less a "half-zoner", in the point he can keep pressure going for fight and taking the initiative, but, acting defensive when needed, using wisely his bombs to protect himself against rushdown advancements, and, using his dangerous net, that, if hits, it's a nightmare for the opponent deal with, since Cyrax can start a free hit and next, some devastating combo he has in his arsenal.

And his Ex specials moves are all useful, Cyrax is a force to be respected in MK 2011.
 
I am SHOCKED by Mileena's total LOL Seriously... but I respect, don't agree, but respect.

Cyrax is an easy 10 for me. Top-tier in the game. Apart from being a pretty fast character, he's also quite versatile. He has bombs, unblockable, great for zoning, and enhanced bombs are DEADLY for combos. His net is fantastic, dare I say, even more efficient than Scorpion's spear. His teleport is quite fast and pretty useful as a wake-up move (one of the best in my opinion). His anti-air grab is annoying, I love it. He even has his saw than when enhanced can be used as a fast projectile. I am actually not a Cyrax player, but I love seeing people using him correctly. One of the very few characters that I have to be very careful to fight against with Nightwolf. Today, I actually beat a fantastic Cyrax player, as a MK fan, I take a lot of pleasure not only winning a fight against Cyrax, but specially playing against a fantastic one. In my mind, one of the best characters hands down. Lots of combo possibilities, some of the craziest ones in the game. 10, easy, no doubt for me.

Cyrax 9.
Bomb and net setups to trap. SUPER high damage on his combos. Command grab mixup. This dude is just a beast. One of the best wakeups in the game with EX meter. He is just incredible.

I could go more on about him, but seriously, I hope I don't have to. It should be well known by now that Cyrax is amazing.
 
Cyrax is a 8.5 in my book.

Very vicious tools, either standard or enhanced version, he can use it whenever the situation calls for it. His net definitely beats Scorpion's spear in terms of recovery and hitbox. Plus, he's one of them flexible type fighters that can used either as a pressure rushdown or as a zoner. If he was nominated, he should be awarded hands down, the BEST COMBO SETUPS fighter ever cuz he has a lot of ways of starting and ending various vicious combos, if used the right way.

Only turn off is that he's not recommended to be used by beginners due to the way they hardly uses his full potential.
 
Cyrax ranks as an 9. He's a really strong character but I think he's going to lose a bit of steam with the alterations made to his bomb trap. His anti-air options are touch weak. Those downsides being said, lol, Cyax has two of the better EX moves in the game. His EX net drains the opponent's special meter and his EX bomb sticks to them and offers a great pop-up opportunity. His command grab can lead to big damage as can his Net as can his bombs...you get the picture. He is a great punisher character, if you start stepping out of line he's going to make you regret it.
 
I haven't played Cyrax enough to put an accurate vote up but I'll tell you who I will vote for:
Tom Morrelo: He gets an easy 10
 
One of the best characters in the game, Cyrax possesses a very dangerous arsenal. Combining stuning, anti-air and zoning moves (not to mention the command trhow) he is a very complete fighter to play as. He is effective in any situation, no matter if you want a close combat or keep pressuring your opponent from the distance.
Cyrax is also a very fast character with quick start ups for many combos if you want to play offensively. He also has a teleport, which allows him to escape from zoners and it even works as an effective wake-up.

Cyrax=9

The only reason a character doesn't get a 10, IMO is because all characters have weaknesses. Otherwise, they would be completely overpowered.
 
Cyrax - 8

Cyrax really seems to be a very well rounded character to me. His snare is amazing, he has a really nice anti-air command grab, unblockable combos. The only things i have seen that are lacking is that it appears a little more difficult to start his combos if people don't fall for his general combo starters. But otherwise he is really well rounded and i would actually like to get good with him some day

cyrax gets a straight up 9

he's one of those characters that can just flat out wreck you, and its hard as hell to escape. I put Cyrax and Kabal as my most feared characters

Ya i suppose we are all bound to have some disagreements but personally every cyrax i fight online i have a much easier time beating even with my sheeva game over mileenas. I really think it is her really effective rush down mix up that catches me. I also think she is a better punisher and a lot more moble

Yeah, in my opinion, I really don't think that anyone should go over a 9 average, or go below a 6 average. The game is fairly balanced, with all the characters having their strengths and weaknesses, which is why I'm finding all the 10's people give Cyrax a little extreme.

Agreed , I think that the minimum is 6, not less than that .....

The only character I think that, sometimes, deserves a 9.5, is Kung Lao, due his incredible set of special moves and combos, very deadly dangerous and useful ...... well, some people could say "due his incredible set of cheapness" .... hehe, but that's another story .....

None character deserves a perfect 10, nobody is perfect, hehe !! XD
