Actually, I always wondered whether or not Sindel considered Mileena to be her "daughter." That actually be something interesting to clear up in MK10. Anyway, I'd give Sindel a 7.5.
 
I'm interested in this one because I just don't have that much experience against her and have never had much interest in playing as her. I know she's got some great zoning tools as well as some slick little combos. I've had problems rushing her wake-up because of the cartwheel kick she can throw out there and she can end her combos with an air fireball which tends to create some space. With my less than ideal amount of experience I won't vote but I'm interested in seeing where she sits and why people think what they do. She seems solidly mid-tier from what I've seen but I really can't tell. No vote from me, just curiosity lol.
 
I give the Queen of Edenia a 7. She's a very good all-round character who can either be a zoner with her Star Screamers or be aggressive and uses her mixup combos, plus her Banshee Scream and Step Up to ruin the opponent's rhytmn. Only weakness is her low damage and some of her custom combos are kinda hard to pull off, especially trying to connect the non-enhanced Scream while the opponent is juggled in the air.
 
Sindel - 6.5

Sindel i think is actually a pretty good novice character but if you ask me the roof of her "house" is a little low. She does have good zoning tools and you cant go wrong with both a low and air projectile but it really appears to be her only strength besides her crazy two or three hit somersaulting combos. I haven't seen any real good combos for her or ways to really punish either
 
Aw man, this is a tough one. Sindel today is actually in my opinion the most underrated beast character.

Her cartwheel is only punishable by low jab AND is an overhead. It's very spammable.
What makes it even better is that she has such amazing lows in her strings as well. Sindel has the potential to be one of the best mixups characters in the game, but nobody uses her still. It's weird. Sindel is just absolutely RIDICULOUS from up close.

Of course she also has her amazing zoning game too. She's just amazing from every distance.

This is the hardest vote for me so far.... I'm going to give Sindel.....

Maybe she'll rise in the ranks when people learn to abuse her more. Just like Reptile is the "flavor of the month" just like Kano was a few weeks ago, I hope Sindel becomes the flavor of the month soon too.
 
Sindel ..... easy 8.

Most underrated character ever in MK 2011, she is a beast, but, lots of players neglects to use her online, and, you don't see much people who are specialist in her gameplay.

- Her zoning game is strong, efficient and annoying to deal with;
- Her default combos are good, specially , her 2,1,2, what is deadly and can be mixed/cancelled with some special moves (Hair Whip or Step Up)
- Her 2 pop up juggle starter combos are hella good !!

I think maybe she will have chance to shine under the MK 2011 spotlight , only when top players become "fed up" of playing only Kung Lao, Reptile, Cyrax and Raiden, and start to explore more others characters with good potential for competitive matches, and Sindel, is among these despised "leftover" characters ....
 
Sindel --> 7

Sindel is most about zoning, and I think Noob's zoning is stronger, and I gave him an 8, so a 7 is fair to me.
 
Sindel's best tools are both her mix up potential and her zoning game. If used properly, she can give Noob Saibot a run for his money since she possesses normal, low and AIR projectiles. Her 2,1,2 combo is an excellent option for a good low mix up, and, as already stated, can be cancelled into any special. Another useful tool is her B3; despite having a slow start up, it covers a really good distance, it can be performed from jump distance and it will still hit the opponent, not to mention the next hit is an overhead.
Her "step up" special is useful againts opponents low blocking, and is also an excellent wake-up attack.
Her X-ray has a fast start up compared to others and HITS LOW!. It will definetly catch any opponent off guard.
Some bad things about her are her slow scream and her levitate move.

Sindel=7.8
 
Sindel is... an interesting case. She's one I usually pick online out of boredoom, I've already trained with her a lot so I can say I have a good knowledge of her. She's got a lot going on for her and a lot going against her. Her zoning is good, her flying ability is great for zoning if someone is not a teleporter (like Sub-Zero), however, I find her combos really hard to master and her specials and enhanced specials are not particulary versatile to me. I wish her scream was more efficient though. Not a lot combo-starters, however some of her specials are insanely spam-potential material, her legs and her projectiles. She's not very punishable also, which is a plus.

Sindel = 7. I was going to give her a 6, but to me - MY OPINION - she's got more tools than Sonya and more combo-potential than Noob Saibot and her specials are still not as punishable as Mileena's. Feel free to disagree of course. I'm surprised not many people found her yet, she can be quite annoying.

Funny I'm one of the few that actually plays her and KNOW how she works.
Her real weakness for me is how slow she is and how slow she is to attack sometimes.

To all the people talking about linking scream into combos, yeah it is kind of hard when you don't know what you're doing. BUT her scream isn't about catching them mid combo in this one. It's more about catching them off-gaurd and keeping distance. She can duck projectiles timing it right, duck some specials, and catch them mid-air if they tend to jump a lot. Her ex yell also has armor and looks like it completely stop the opponents attack and hits them.
She has GREAT corner combo opportunities, and her overhead flip kick is great on people waking up without a wake up attack.
Her zoning is great also. She has a low projectile that ducks all others.
Her levitate that is actually used mid combo to confuse the target.

I give Sindel an 8.5, mostly because people don't take the time to learn her and witness how great of a character she really is.

I LOLed at the person saying she is "novice friendly", because all in all, she is the complete opposite. Take her online abusing the same two moves, I guarantee you you WON'T get far like the other real novice friendly characters.
 
IMO, Sindel is more spamable than Scorpion or Smoke, but people dont complaint about her because you only see 1 sindel after 50 Scorpions and 20 Smokes.

She doesn't have low hitting specials because she is a WELL balanced character. If her ball did it low, people would cry "OP" as soon as it's changed.
I'm kind of pissed and sad to see such a low vote for Mileena overall. But I'm pretty sure these people get there asses handed to them from her anyways, so let her feast begin :D

EVERY character is spammable, people don't train with the characters properly to learn how they fight, therefore giving them low rankings from facing a crappy Sindel or not knowing how she's played themselves (if that makes sense). It's easy to counteract her fireballs, pick a teleporter.
I'm coming from the few that do legit juggles with her, mixups, and use her specials at the appropriate times. I've been told atleast 5 times already that my Sindel was good and not like others'.

Mileena is low tier to me. Period, thats my opinion. If you like her good for you.

Sindel, of course some people use her right, the same I can say about Scorpion, Noob, Smoke and Ermac, even so everyone cries all the time saying they get spammed by them, but thats like you said people dont learn how to us ethem properly, but if we take Noob, Scorpion and Sindel and give her to someone with no skill, Sindel is gonna be the most spamable, that was my point.
I can use Ermac, Smoke and Noob very well I dont spam but that doesnt mean they are not spamable by other persons.

There are chars more spamable than other I think Sindel is the most spamable one, but Im not saying she is cheap, OP or whatever.
