*The MK class walks into Mr. Tsung classroom, and sits accordingly*
Mr. Tsung: Good morning! Now, as you all may remember, today is or annual Safety Day, so your schedule is a bit changed, as you can see he-
Johnny Cage: Awwww, we’ve had to Safety Day 2 times already! Do we really have to do it again?
*The class agrees, with groans of disapproval*
Mr. Tsung: I’d much rather skip this entire school day and go home, but Mr. Kahn said it’s mandatory for all schools to do it each year.
*All the teenagers start booing, when the intercom goes off*
Mr. Kahn: Good Morning students. Today is Safety Day, where we discuss what we do in case of emergencies. We will come back on with a fire drill after 30 minutes, where we will explain the rest outside.
Mr. Tsung: Well, you heard him. Go with your partners and do the project on the board.
*The Teens go to their seats from yesterday, and continue from yesterday. Let’s observe Liu Kang, Kitana and Kung Lao*
Liu Kang: ………
Kitana: …………..
Kung Lao: …….
Liu Kang: Uhh, that goes over there, Kitana.
Kitana: Thanks.
*Ooookkkkkkkaaaayy. Well, let’s go over to Kenshi and Sub-Zero*
**Kenshi accidentally knocks over a test tube**
Kenshi: Damn! Why are these test tubes clear? Even with sonar, these are difficult to see.
Sub-Zero: It’s ok. Here, I can pour the acid if you want.
Kenshi: No No. I got this one.
*Kenshi pours the hydrofluoric acid… right onto the table*
Acid: *Sizzle*
Kenshi: Oops. Ok you can do the pouring.
Sub-Zero: That’s what I thought.
*While they continue with their report, let’s head over to Smoke and Sektor*
Smoke: Ok, looks good so far. Now you just need to pour a little bit of that-
*points to a purple chemical*
Smoke: - into our test tube
Sektor: Got it
*As he carefully begins to pour the chemical into the test tube, the fire alarm goes off, causing him to jump and pour the entire vial into the tube*
Smoke: NO!
*A small explosion goes off. When the smoke clears, they both have black marks on their face, and Smoke’s hair is in his MK9 Primary state. Everybody except them laughs*
Mr. Tsung: Now class, follow me outside to the field
*Mr. Tsung heads out to the football field bleachers, with his class close behind. They go to the bleachers, and after a few minutes of talking, Mr. Kahn arrives*
Mr. Kahn; It’s nice to see we all got here. Now if there’s ever a fire in the building, you are to report out here. If there is an event in which other realms may attack…
*BORING! Let’s go see what the Kids are up to*
Johnny Cage: I still don’t see why we have to do this a third time
Liu Kang: Maybe because some of us have forgotten. You should probably pay attention to him instead of looking at yourself in a mirror
Johnny Cage **Puts away Mirror** Geez, what’s your problem?
Liu Kang: **Sigh** Kitana said she doesn’t want to go out with me yet.
Johnny Cage: That sucks man.
Liu Kang: Tell me about it. I mean, we were together originally, so why not this time?
Kung Lao: Remember, they decided to let everyone go their own way this time. She doesn’t have to be with you, if she doesn’t want to.
Liu Kang: You’re right. Maybe I should just give up on it.

Johnny Cage: Ok. Whatever man.
*Well, let’s switch it up to Jax and Kabal, shall we?*
Jax: You tell your boy I’m ready to fight him?
Kabal: Dude, he’s right there **Points 2 rows down** if you want him, wait until after this.
Jax: Fine
Kabal: Also, heard you might talk to Sonya about… you know… dating her.
Jax: Huh? How did you hear that?
Kabal: I was standing right behind you. Are you going to do it?
Jax: I don’t know. We’ve been friends for a long time. I really don’t want to screw it up between us.
Kabal: Don’t worry. The time will be right one day.
Jax: You’re right. Thanks.
Kabal: No problem.
*Aaawww. After a few minutes, the students finally pay attention to Mr. Kahn, a bit too late, actually.*
Mr. Kahn: And that is where you’ll go when a tornado hits. Any questions.
*Chirp, Chirp*
Mr. Kahn: No? Good. Ok, early release I guess. See you all tomorrow.
*The students go inside to get their things and leave. As Kano is leaving his locker…*
Jax: I want a rematch.
Kano: Why? You just wanna get pummeled again?
Jax: No. I’ve been spending all my time this summer, wanting for my chance. And after what you did to Sonya, that crossed the line.
Kano: Ok then. This Friday, after school. Savvy?
Jax: Ok. See you then
*After that encounter, the teens go home, chitchat, and go to bed, hoping that tomorrow will be a lot better then today*
