Unfortunately that's as much as I know at this point. Why the separate release dates or anything else related to it for that matter, I don't know. I'll keep you guys posted whenever I get something new my way as well.

you don't HAVE to believe him, but the fact that you're on this board shows that you are interested in this game and have some measure of hope that it will release. It seems like you should want to believe him......

Mr. Wayne is correct. It's fine to be skeptical, but there's no reason to get all Billy Badass on him because you're skeptical.

not getting too deep...moving on...the move to 3D hurt the series..i know why they did it but it just doesnt seem right....the best thing for me in the last few games have been the konquest mode and chess...the fighting has been stale...MK VS DC could have been a great game if it wasnt so memorable..the game play was good, had some great elements...i loved free fall kombat and going through walls...even the up close fights were fun with friends...story mode was lame..and then the toned down blood and gore...BS this is MK...i want over the top violence and screw midway and boon for selling out so hard on their brand....it might have been a thought but once DC started demanding or saying no to things i would have shut it down....if i was boon or whoever dealing with DC on the midway side...i would have been like "sorry this is an MK game where its extreme violence and its possible for batman to get ripped in half, if you cant fathom the thought then this project is scrap"...but its all about money...people bought it were cool with it and then were disgusted by it...

wow...sorry..been drinking...got off topic...anyways...WB knows theres money to be made in the franchise and its not with a new game or web series...its all in the old school...they know we exist and that we will buy it...nostalgia/rehashes are at all time high....im more surprised that WB hasnt released arcade proper ports on XBL or PSN yet...im dying for a proper MK 1 AND MK 2 release....backbone did ok but left out a few elements that made them lacking....MAME is ok...but i want them on my PS3 and as collection..my PC is my PC and i rarely run games on it anymore.....anyways...i do believe depending on MK9...there will be plenty of MK to come...and im sure MK9 will do very well...MK HD will come...its inevitable and if it doesnt..than maybe the people that call shots are morons

Very well said! I spent several hours playing MK1 and MK2 in a terminal on an airforce base in Japan. I agree with you 100%. I have all of the MK's except MK vs DC...just the idea after buying the atrocious Armageddon turned me off. All of the hype from the new MK coming out has me really excited, however if it is a flop, I do hope I can fall back onto the Arcade Klassics as an alternative to keep my love for MK alive.

Hey, lol, if they recreate MK1, MK2 and UMK3 in HD, making a MK Trilogy HD will take just some days to kompilate all charakters in new selekt-skreen:) Time will show. I'm just very curious about the kostumes. I mean, in MK1 ninjas looked so, in MK2 and UMK3 they looked different, so... Scorpion - will he look different in MK1 HD, MK2 HD and UMK3 HD, or they're just gonna use one sprite-set (or 3D model?) per character?

They're just sitting in their studios, listing this and other forums, they certainly notice our tears and rage. They collect the info of our reactions to decide, is there really a point to release it. So, the more we cry and shout "I WANT I WANT I WANT" - the bigger the chance is)
Well, they exactly know how much we want it. And they know how many of us will pay for it. What they do is an absolutely ruthless commercial tactics.
