Massacre at Elementary School

These mass shootings are really starting to piss me off.

There was one yesterday at a mall in Utah and two people got killed.

I can see it now.

Ignorant News Reporter:
"He had a collection of violent video games, such as Mortal Kombat, Call Of Duty, Battlefied and other games in his library."

Nevermind the fact that he might have just been a crouton short of a salad, or just a complete nutbag, right???
IT'S 2012, AND WE'RE STILL BLAMING VIOLENT ACTS ON VIDEOGAMES!!!

REALLY???

And yet our government because it's paid by the NRA, refuse to make it harder for people to buy guns aka "stricter gun laws"

I'm like any other american, and think we should have the right to bear arms. Freedom has a price.

But most of the prices we have to pay, could be easily avoided by really strict gun laws.

So until then you can continue to purchase your assualt rifles online.

enjoy!

btw this is a very saddening crisis. I can't even read/watch about it too much. It makes me way too sad.

20 kids died, 6 teachers, and the gunman.

Guns are NOT the problem.

It takes a person to pull the trigger.

If guns were not legally obtainable, people would find ways to get it, like the black market, for example. If they can't get a gun, they will use a sledgehammer. A chainsaw. A baseball bat.

People have to already be sick in the head to wake up and plan a killing. ANYTHING can be a weapon, so this shit where people complain about stricter guns laws is bullshit. I hate guns, I wish they never existed, but, they are not the issue here. It's fcked up people who are depressed and angry and feel that they have to take other people down with them. It's not video games or movies or music, it's strictly mentally ill people. You could give me a gun and I will use it responsibly. You can give some other guy the same gun and he can use it to go to town on a mall, a school, a street, wherever he pleases, because he is mentally ill.

People need to stop looking at guns and look at people. It is so easy to point the finger at a weapon instead of the douchebag using it.

You can't a lot of time.

I never said that it was totally possible.

There are some people who give obvious signs but a lot of it is hidden.

That is still not the fault of weapons, it is an issue of people's mentality.

Like I said, a normal, sane person doesn't do shit like this. You have to already have mental issues to go out and commit such a thing.

This world sucks balls.

Further proof that guns are not the issue: a dipshit in China slashed a bunch of kids today with a knife.

People are mental.

Some of you guys are too young to remember, or to have even been born at the time, but, when I was a kid, the entire neighbourhood left their front doors open, just closed the screen door. We were in the basement, out in the backyard, not even paying attention to the door whatsoever, and it didn't matter. You could go out to the store and just close the screen, come back, and nothing in your home was touched.

Do that now and your living room will be empty and your children abducted.

I am not saying violence and crazy people haven't been around, but, this world has too many damn people in it and a lot of them are nuts. How can a parent feel safe about sending their child to school? Are parents expected to turn to home schooling? Your kid should be able to learn in a safe environment and not go to school in fear of some idiot walking in with a gun because he's angry at his own life.

Hearing stories like this no longer makes me sad, it makes me legit angry. I am sick and tired of the fcked up people polluting this planet.

^ the overpopulation of the world is slowly killing us, driving us insane.

And this news is just horrible, just when you thought we couldnt sink any lower this year, this happens.

Supposedly this guy had mommy issues (from what I've heard, I need to look more into it) but whatever the case is, he felt the urge to take it out on a bunch of little kids as well for some reason. Sadly, he was the one to take his life and not someone else. He was human garbage, a waste of space and will not be missed by anyone.

Is nowhere safe anymore? I know its unhealthy to live your life in paranoia, but seriously, what the fvck are we coming to. Its only getting worse, and its not just guns, we've had them for ages. The cogs are rusting in the big machine of life.

My condolence goes to all those kids and all others who have died. I wish the best for their families. :(

As a parent or even an uncle/aunt of any young children, that would be too painful for me.

My condolences to the victims.

There was never adequate security in schools though. School shootings are nothing new, yet no reforms have been made since a high-profile massacre that occurred 15 years ago. It's easy to bring a weapon, so long as it fits in your backpack or your clothing. All it takes some malicious or crazy individual to walk right in and unload on the virtually defenseless masses. I was once threatened by a guy brandishing a slingshot with metal ammo, but he could have easily carried a handgun if he had access to one.
