Me too and it was one of my favorite classic games out there. it indeed had great music. One of the best platformers out there and perhaps underrated.
Believe it or not, I actually really liked War Gods and would love to see a sequel. I know they will never do it, but I thought it was a great game.
Aside from that, I'd like to new installments of:

Streets of Rage, Vectorman, Golden Axe, Ecco, Earthworm Jim, Shinobi (I think a new one's coming out for the 3DS, but screw it, I don't have one), Nights, Panzer Dragoon, and several others I'm forgetting.
Just don't **** with them. I don't wanna see half-assed attempts to bring the 2D games into the 3rd dimension (like they did with Golden Axe). Give me side-scrolling sequels in HD with faithful gameplay and release them on XBLA.

megaman and duke nukem games that dont suck.
oh and mabey a lucas arts game that isnt star wars or indiana jones. remember when they used to do that? games like full throttle, the dig, day of the tentacle, and so on.

I remember a game from PS2 It was my first game for it. I think it was called like The bounce or something Bouncer maybe.
I thought that game was pretty cool, Wouldn't mind playing a sequel to that.
