Ben Affleck is BATMAN!

Ledger was not nominated because he died, but because his performannce was stellar.

However, you have to be naive to believe that an oscar means anythung other than comercial success, most of the times.
 
Can you name how many times an actor died and he nominated and won?
This is not an argument. The movie was good, and the acting of Ledger and most of the cast great. It does not have anything to do if it's a comic book movie or not, is there a rule that comic book movies do not get oscars?

oh yes it does. awards shows like that are political dude.


people like that frown on the idea of a guy in a bat costume but there ok with a film that is based on true events like zero dark thirty or the footlocker
 
Fact is that the oscars are nothing close to anything close to a reliable source for good acting or not but even so There are countless times where an actor died and he did not got an oscar. I also think that there were occasions that he/she was nominated and did not won. And even if it played any role, which this may have happened, that does not mean that Ledger was anything close to bad, he still gave an amazing performance.
 
I don't know if Ben Aflleck can pull off Batman.

But I do know, his face always makes me think Ben Affleck. So I have this huge feeling, I won't be able to shake off Ben Afflect himself, to enjoy the character he's portraying.

But I think I'd keep seeing the funny side of him over the serious side.



That's why I feel odd about Ben Affleck.

But at the end of the day I'll wait til the end to put forth judgement.

Daredevil was bad because the producer cut alot of the parts and moved scenes around. The direct cut of Daredevil is awesome and Affleck is good. Anyways Ben is okay in my book and the movie can still be good just as long as Jennifer Garner gets nowhere near it

Is the directors cut that good cause my dad has it on blu ray but I never bother watching it because I thought it would be the same as the originel

ill be honest if the original release was the directors cut for theatres i think we all would be looking at it differently but even after seeing it i just cant get over the original i saw.
 
So I finished watching the directors cut and I will say the movie was a whole lot better the the original. I finally got some answer on cetain scenes :). Also in the original I always felt that the..... uh..... well the scene were Ben and Jen (lol I just realized their names rhyme xD) do the nasty was odd and out of no where. Its a good thing knowing that the scene was not there originally. I mean come on if all I had to do was to spar a girl and then take her to a roof top to get in her pants I would not be wasting my time typing this post right now lol.

So because he won awards, he can be Batman? That's a terrible analogy. Awards don't mean you can pull off every part that's put in front of you.

ever since the reveal they themselves have released new images for 2 of there upcoming films

i love you for that reply. thats what people dont get. it would be like saying lets have a director like chris nolan throw his hat into acting and truth be told as a fantastic director he is he could very well suck as an actor.

but of course you have the hardcore nolan fanbase really believe and preach just because hes a great director he will be a great actor.

people need to learn to seperate the 2 of director and actor but ppl are so hung up on who is the hottest person in hollywood
