i think its a pretty safe bet this batman wont be anything like nolans wich im fine with.

maybe im just reading to much into it and not giving the guy a fare shot.

maybe he would suprise me i dont know.

i guess im just tired of batman always being the one to be pushed out into theatres all the time.
 
Not really a fan of Mr. Affleck, but Keaton isn't the best actor and those movies were great, so I don't see why Affleck won't do fine. He can't be any worse than Val Kilmer.

i liked kilmer i really did but if you saw him now he really let himself go and not in a good way either.i said before ben affleck isnt my first choice and i admit i was a dick about it but im just so sick of batman period being the only cash cow from dc.

anybody want to weigh in on this?

I actually kinda liked Val Kilmer as Batman. Batman Forever is really dumb (still can't hate it completely though), but Kilmer actually didnt do anything stupid, in fact he kinda stood out cause he acted so serious compared to the villains and whiny ass robin.


Affleck is dumb to me, but whatever, I'm starting to get over it now. If this were 2002 and they were just trying to cram whatever rising prettyboy star into a superhero movie I'd be more pissed (like daredevil) but the dude's like 40 something I think now, and judging from Man of Steel, WB actually gives a shit about what gets put out. So as much as I dont like Affleck, I'm hoping they know what they're doing with him. I Just hope he's actually in the batsuit and cowl alot and doesnt pull a Stalone Judge Dredd for most of the movie.

could practically say this about any bad shit that happens in a 3rd world country while you enjoy your favorite form of entertainment in a safer place. Happens all the time, and thats why its great not living in Syria. Putting image macro text over the Joker doesnt really make you more cultured or enlightened. (not saying you personally made that image, but you get what I mean)
 
That's why sometimes I hate reading american based forums, cause they are ignorant of what happens around them, or even worse they agree.
 
@Sky Valley for me ben could be great in the batman costume but its the bruce wayne out of the costume side of it im worried about

im only going to think its just ben affleck . at least with bale ( who i really enjoyed) made the bruce wayne part really believable.

i really want to like ben i do hell but i just dont see him as bruce wayne.

i mean yea daredevil sucked mainly for the story but i really didnt have an issue with him as matt murdock or in the dd costume.

maybe its just me so who knows he may suprise me in 2015 or i may just end up hating the movie period because the story very well can suffer ( green lantern was a perefect example to this comment great cast terrible story)

so its being reported that sinestro will be in mos2............

as much as i loved mark strong as sinestro i personally think thats a bad move for superman.

imo give me black adam as the villain because he will give superman a run for his money since superman is vulnerable to magic so i have no idea if that would exist in snyders mind because we didnt have kryptonite in the first one.

if they ever decide to bring the riddler in a future batman movie i think this man right here would deliver really well

alot of people wanted neil patrick harris for riddler but i just cant see him as a villain.

i could see him as midnighter from storm watch

now that i think of it jason momoa would make a amazing vandal savage
