Am I the only one who's not excited for MKAK?

i too prefer mk9. i mean i DID enjoy the classics as a kid, they were awesome... but those were the days that it was more of a pick up and play game and using special moves, whereas mk9 is more for skilled players and highly emphasizes the use of combos

by that i mean, a friend could come over and easily learn the classic ones and play a good match with you, but with mk9 if you bring a friend over thats never played it before, lets face it they dont stand a chance, which annoys me sometimes :(

Agree 100%. Unless they know mk9 or other fighting games well, it's hard for them to pick it up quickly

MK9 is my all-time favorite and I just bought UMK3 for iPhone. Lots of characters in it, pretty fun, but I want to see Rain in the Arcade Kollection or else I'm not buying it. Also if it costs more than 1200 MS Points, it's out.

I'm absolutely not excited. Not because i don't like klassics, but because i already have them in MAME, Snes and Sega, i'm not excited by one more copy.

I am in the same boat, between my arcade machines, MAME, SNES, Sega its doesnt have me thrilled for it however ill still pick it up.

I'd be excited only if they reprogrammed the shitty cheating cheap AI of MK1, MK2 and UMK3. But I doubt that'll ever happen.

Not excited, not gonna buy that crap.As pointed above they are not bothering too much with it and are giving us the worst possible version of UMK3. It isnt too much to include Rain, Noob saibot to the arcade version. To me SNES UMK3 is the best version and is the one they shudda provided. Plus the first two games are rubbish comboless games, they were good to play only up to 1995....No HD upgrade is a turn off as well, so suck me NRS.

You should hold out for the MK SNES Kollection. Seriously.

I am not SUPER excited, but I'm still looking forward to play MK1, it was my favorite one of the series before MK9 came out.

No your not the only one, I am not really a fan of MK:AK, Im more up-to-date with 3-D, I only liked UMK3 and MK1, But im not going to be used to playing it on a PS3 Controller.

Nope you not the only one. I know im not excited for it. It not in HD so I have no need to buy it. I already got MK1, MK2, and UMK3 on my old gaming systems so I have so I have no need to buy this Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection.

I am VERY excited for this release!! As I have stated in some of my other posts, I'm a nostalgic kind of guy and I grew up playing these old klassics....Being that these are to be "Arcade Perfect ports", I wonder if they will add in the random Reptile messages in MK1??

Oh damn I didn't think about that. I hope they do. Also, will this be the version of MKI with blood or "the grey sweat" shit (Nintendo version)

I'm sure these will be emulated as oppose to actual ports (that's the route they always go for these types of things), so everything from the arcade version will be there, including the Reptile hints and (of course) red blood. They'd have to go completely out of their way to add features from the SNES and Genesis versions, so it's not like they could accidentally replace the blood with sweat.

Good point, kinda like the MK Deception Kollector's Edition "ARCADE PERFECT" emulation of MK1, pretty damn close...but not 100% IMO. :)

Good Shape.

If they release it on disc, I will buy it for my kollection. But as a download, I am not interested. I have all 4 arcade machines, mame, pc etc etc the whole lot
