Shang Tsung and Quan Chi aren't really buddies anymore

As a matter of fact, right after Shao Kahn announced that both Shang Tsung and Quan Chi would be fighting Kung Lao in the story, Shang Tsung didn't seem too happy after fighting with Quan Chi judging by his facial expressions

Why do people forget that Shang Tsung is dead and his power was given to Sindel and she also died. So there is no Deadly Alliance anymore. I still find it very funny :laugh:
 
I`d say Nightwolf. He fcking sacrificed himself to defeat Sindel while everybody else was dead. Without him Raiden and Liu Kang needed to take down Sindel and Shao Kahn.

And if Raiden killed Liu Kang before he killed Sindel he needed to take Sindel AND Shao Kahn down each other. What probably would be too much for Raiden alone. AND Johnny Cage and Sonya were not there to help him.
So...Nightwolf saved Earthrealm.

Reptile. The guy's the lone survivor of his species, has invisibility powers, and his very spit is a lethal acid.
 
Kahn in the story mode, by miles. Followed by
2nd Raiden (yes he beat Kahn but only when enhanced by all five Elder Gods+ his own power)
3rd Liu Kang
4th Sindel
5th Nightwolf

In arcade it really depends on the player (again after kahn)

if it werent for quan chi sindel would be a skeleton burried in the sand. plus didnt quan help shao kahn heal after being defeated by liu kang (who of course was killed by a single burst of lightning from raiden lol)? if it werent for quan chi, if im correct, the whole mk3 part of the story mode wouldnt have even happened. quan chi ftw!
