I wouldn't personally call you a spammer...just because you dont know the big combos it doesnt mean you spam.
I really dont have any idea on how to juggle that well either, it's all a learning curve, but hours in training mode definately
helps you to figure things out for yourself.

Anyway, i dont think there should be the option to kick, because if someone wins 10 rounds out of pure talent, everyone will be annoyed and probably kick the guy. which is obviously unfair. i just dont see any real way of keeping it under control, so theres no point in adding suh a feature.

Thanks for positive input dragon agreed, the OP Himself mentioned booting the king for being too good! You say training with one specific but so far i'm tryin everyone to see who fits me lol

no problem at all...and i didnt necessarily mean training with one specific charater, im still mixing between each one to see who does best for me. but i found the best way to build upon a character is spend a few hours laying down the basics and gradually working on your own bigger combos, then when you can perform them easily, set the AI to begginer and see how your combos do then, and keep bumping up until you get to expert and feel as if you can dominate. its how i go about it anyway, lol

Lol thanks for the tips dude, am gonna try and learn someone a little unconventional so its a little harder to scout online. Met someone who was a whizz with kano and coz i didn't really know how he worked the guy hammered me lol

no your not a spammer, if they get caught by the spear or teleport its their own damn faulty because their both easily punished if blocked. I get called a spammer because i use raidens teleport and can get people caught in corners. Here is an exact quote from an angry loser, " you suck, all you do is teleport combo, and electric fly people into corners, learn how to play the game." Funny right.

If they fix the lag issues, KotH should be fine since they have a mute option.

I do dislike people who abuse their mic and who talk shit, but those are usually the guys that suck and do that shit to distract you. I take that as a sign of weakness and just mute them and splatter them anyway.

There's no such thing as a King that is too good, either. That just means you need more practice and if you're not in the mood to keep losing, go to another room. And I'm not saying that you should just give up, but the beauty of online gaming is that you can keep looking around until you find a room that's more your style.

If anything, I like playing in a KOTH where there is a really good player, I analyze their strategy and either do what they are doing or figure out the kinks in their strategy and exploit them.

I know it sounds nerdy as hell, but its the truth lol

Ha ha gotta love it. Its not like you've hacked the disc or even exploiting a glitch. Obviously scorpion's moves can be seen as cheap but like you said someone blocks a teleport punch i sure as hell wont complain when someone wipes my energy bar for it, yet people complain if you counter with the spear! Think people just complain for losing which i don't get. "they're better than you, deal" once lag is fixed then people will have no room to complain, hopefully anyway!

Yes and no.Definitely not if the king is too good.As far as the rest muting is a good option and if I get beat by spam I feel its my fault.If theres enough people in the room youll have enough time to develop a strategy to overcome.The only time I would personally kick is if its an offensive player and I would only do it for the sake of the room.

The only time I get sick of a room is if theres only yourself and one other for a long time.Wether Im winning or losing Ill leave.(not before the round ends of course!)

some people I don't understand, I had a match with one person which I won and did not fatality (because personally I would rather get the next match going) and some guys gave me 4.0 or lower...once I lost the thrown after 2 matches my opponent performed a fatality and everyone was giving them 8.0 or higher.

I give score based on the skill of the player, never give a zero though, lowest I go is 2, and that's if I'm pissed and feel they beat me cheaply or I'm mad at myself for blowing it


I've gotten 0.0 and a few rage quits by handling guys, I just laugh it off

Most of the time I give out 8's (an average looking fight). If the opponent completely shuts me/other person out with nice combos or something like that I give 9 or 10.
If they SPAM I give 2 or 4. Never given out zeros.

On topic: I love getting 0's from people i beat, that tells me i got under their skin and i love doing that
and also acheivements mean absolutlely nothing to me, so i dont care what people give me, and that makes KOTH that much more fun for me
 
GOOD Online KOTH Matches

Gonna start putting up King of the Hill Matches with some forum regulars (mostly just RockHard and Circus) + randoms. Tired of all the spam complaints and garbage gameplay.

Here's some great matches from yesterday before I got kicked off. I'll update with new videos as I post them up.

When i win in KotH like 10+ Times by KOMBOS and Actual Special moves, They Hate-Mail me. Lol.
Like I beat this guy all rounds with different kombos, he got so mad that he Said "You sux play fair."
And to make him feel better, i chose different characters every time.
(P.S. I always did a fatality LOL. He ragequit soon.)

I've discovered there are no shortage of ragequitters and bad sports even on the forums. Forums are especially rife with trolls and childish players just waiting to rage quit.
