I don't get what some people's mentalities are when they give rep. I've been in rooms where the people playing suck ****ing balls. Everyone in the room will be spamming and landing at most 3 hit combos, but at the end of the matches, they'll give the winner a 8-10.

Then I'll come in and repeatedly land 5-8 hits and throw in a 12 hit with an X-ray and everyone will give me a 4 or less. I can understand the guy I just beat doing it, but not the other people in the room.

Yeah, I figured they were jealous that they couldn't do the same, but if I see someone doing cool shit that I would like to be able to so, I give them props, not degradation. It's too bad others don't feel the same. :(

I give them points based on skill... if you are a spamming scrub noob 0.0, if you are a good fighter then ill give you more points

if ppl give 0 i dont mind they are proparly pissed of becouse u pwnd them and they are raging its just fun fun fun lol... marijuhana

If someone beats me with honor in a good fight I score them with a high, if they beat me spamming they get a big round 0 from me.

I will enjoy my well deserved beverage with my glorious foot elevated on their back captain Morgan style! Or this whole scenario could be avoided by people not acing like babies.

Play against your friends so you rate eachother scores that you don't deserve? lawl. The best way to avoid people scoring you a 0 is to play well as do some good combos, and end with a fatality. I hardly ever get 0's. I rate people 0 that just spam special moves the whole match and can't pull off more than a 2 hit combo. If you put no work into your playing, you deserve nothing.

Your performance rarely comes into question with the scores if you beat someone more than likely your gonna catch a 0.0 just for spite. I try to score fights fairly but others are not so kind.

Modesty on KOTH

Suprisingly, after holding an 11 win streak on KOTH, I had a real bad Smoke noob come up to fight. I Double Flawlessed him and performed a Babality (insult to injury), and I got all 10's from everyone, even the other fighter.

I was expecting the newbie to get hurt and vote 0.0, but he didn't. It's nice to know not all fighters get frustrated when they lose bad. :)

If it was a Smoke noob as you say, he would endlessly spam the teleport punch. So, you would have to block some of those because it's nearly impossible to avoid them without the block button and therefore not be able to perform a babality...

Most of the players I encounter seem rather gracious enough, but there's always going to be the odd anti-social type who just can't handle defeat or whatever. These kinds of people are inevitable. It's a statistical given to have to deal with them in society as a whole. The anonymity factor just makes it easier for them to act out without any real repercussions, so online they appear to be more frequent than you would usually expect. However, most people will still tend to be more gracious by nature.

Teleport punches cause chip damage to blocks, so I never would have had a Double Flawless anyway :P.
I just rushed him a majority of the time and every one of his teleport punches missed.

I did this just last night against a KotH room with 3 other guys in it, and I got MAYBE a total of 10 respect between the 3 of them, so this isn't always true. I even used different characters (I used Cyrax, Reptile, CSZ and then Kung Lao) so they knew I was just a one-trick pony. I was landing 4-8 hit combos the whole time, but they all ended up quitting before I could finish them.

Anyway, after he rage quit, I sent the last guy a message laughing at him and the other guys for getting mad and he sent me a reply saying that it "required 0 skill to do 2 X-Rays in a row". Forget the fact that that's not possible (at least not with the guys I used), that's just stupid. I then sent him a message telling him that if that's the case, it required 0 skill to beat him. He didn't respond.

The funny thing is he picked Raiden for the last match and I guess he thought he was gonna win by just spamming the Torpedo since that was his every other move.

lol I ve 7-8 to a win without fatality, 8-10 for a win with fatality.
