Your MK confessions

I think everyone who gets horny for an MK character or any virtual character has problems jk lol. But seriously, I don't see how people get hot for virtual characters seeing as how their made out of pixels, digital codes, and their not real.

What's next? Their going to marry that character, oh....

:barf:

lol

Your denial is showing . . .

Lol, but seriously, thats what I believe in. Now granted the MK1 - MK3 girls were hot seeing as how they were real models, but the rest nope, not even a tingle.

Well, for me I'm not busting over any of them.
It's just a game.
But MK9 is the best looking of them all, IMO.

My only confession is I write fanfiction and I started one on this game even though I swore to myself only original stories from now on.

MK kickstarted my addiction to writing. Eventually the MK writing I started was left to die, and I started writing Mass Effect fan fiction. Also, I never played MK9 online until yesterday.

Oh god, fan fiction.

MK also got me into writing. In 9th grade, I had this great vision of writing an EPIC MK story, on the same scale as the many Marvel comics cross-overs from the 90s, like "Maximum Carnage." This was in 1999, a couple years after MK4 came out and a couple years before MKDA was ever announced, so I essentially developed a plot that would continue the story arcs of MK4.

Quan Chi was cast as the main villain and his goal was to strike back against the Earthrealm warriors for his defeat in MK4. In true comic book fashion, the plot was very contrived, with unnecessary twists and one deus ex machina after another, lol. Quan Chi planned to ease his revenge by eradicating the Earth warriors he didn't fight in MK4, believing them to be a greater threat to his plans than the warriors with whom he already had experience (I'm sure I rationalized it somehow). In the end, Raiden gathers all the Earth warriors who weren't captured and they charge into Quan Chi's giant pyramid. Scorpion and Sub-Zero break away from the rest of the group and team up to butcher Quan Chi in his own fortress.

The story had something like 9 chapters and it had moments of (IMO) great set pieces and witty dialogue, but mostly it was the hormonal diatribe of 14/15 year old... including the colorful language, especially from Johnny Cage, haha.

Eventually I started writing a whole series spawning from the same story arc, and I had almost 40 individual chapters posted (each on the order of 20-30 pages at 12 pt in Word), and even had 2 or 3 regular readers who would drop feedback.

I had to stop when the set-up to my ultimate capstone turned out to be borrowing elements from someone else's fiction (I didn't do it intentionally, I just wasn't very bright), and I eventually lost all interest in it. I had also appropriated several pieces of dialogue/setups/actions from other comic books and movies, so it definitely lacked originality in many respects. I think I tried a couple times to reboot the whole timeline, but I never got too far.

Oh yeah, and Mileena is totally the hottest lady in the game.

It was funny seeing your signature with Rain and under it saying you will never enjoy freddy as dlc... Cuz i love freddy and i think Rain is one of the worst MK characters ever. THO' Kratos rules.

If you are still interested and still have that flare you could post up ur works at the writing section and join the TRMK writers, readers and artists group for feedback :).

In MK: deception konquest mode at the earthrealm village, there was a quest where you had to get rid of a peeping tom for a lady. I actually waited there thinking she would really strip XD.

Yes! I remeber this one where this fat guy stole my money in a corner>:l
Lol yea, I got pissed thinking all the koins I earned till now was stolen. Also The part where you had to run a running race with a guy at the exit gate of the earthrealm village, who ran insanely fast. I had no idea how to beat untill I figured out the L2 button's use XD.

I refused to buy MK4 when it first came out cuz of what they did to reptile lol needless to say MK5 didn't help haha. I was young though and I liked my ninjas :)
