What game are you playing right now?

Star Wars Episode 1 Podracer on SEGA Dreamcast.

Wow. I had the 64 version when I was young but I could never really immerse myself into it cause the game was so damn muddy looking. I was never a graphics whore as a kid, but even then I knew something was off about it. But on Dreamcast everything is sharpened up and you can actually see where walls and obstacles are to avoid crashing to your death every five seconds. The gameplay is a lot tighter as well. I've been no-lifing this game all weekend while I'm borrowing a Dreamcast. I gotta say it might have to be my favorite racer after F-Zero GX cause of all the ultra speed and tech mechanics they both share.

shout out to this guy too, may be an ugly abomination and an embarrassment to the star wars name but he's fast as hell

Playing The Knife Of Dunwall and The Brigmore Witches DLCs in the Dishonored Definitive Edition, trying to get the "Enough coin to disappear" trophy.
I forgot how frugal I had to be to get that trophy the first time around on PS3.
Finished it last night with 9,884 coins, so I'm doing a 2nd run today to get it.
I didn't think that I had spent 5,000+ coins on upgrades in my last play-through.

Final Fantasy XIII (Xbox 360) - Just made it to Chapter 10. Soon I'll be at Gran Pulse and get to play the open-world Chapter 11! For as panned as this game gets, I've had a blast with the game. The way I personally paced it (in terms of when and how long I play it), makes it seem really well done. Just like when I played Mass Effect 2 in the span of 5hrs a week to finish it by day 7, it feels much better to finish a game's story over a long span of time rather than trying to rush to the ending just because a new game is coming out. Not the best FF game, but definitely my favorite right above FF6. :)

Final Fantasy Record Keeper (iOS)
- Just started this yesterday. It's pretty nice, hopefully it will get better. I can't wait to get further into it.

My grandma had an Intellivision in her basement in the 90s. I played the shit out of it whenever I went to her place in Missouri. I think Burger Time was the game I most enjoyed on that console.

But if I'm in the market for a retro console, I'll aim for the Atari 7800. I already have an NES, SNES, N64, a Genesis clone/emulator that has 80 games (including the first 3 MK games) onboard and can play Genesis cartridges, and all 4 PlayStations.

Fair point, though a 2600 would probably be easier to find since it dominated it's generation while the 7800 got its ass kicked by the NES.

If you're looking for a place to buy Retro games, I recommend Game Over Videogames. And I think you can order online on that site as well, but there are brick & mortar locations in San Antonio, Austin, San Marcos, Arlington, Round Rock, and Houston (I literally just found out today that they have locations in Houston). I recently saved a lot of money when I bought a power supply for my NES that previously wasn't working (turns out the power supply was exactly what was wrong with my NES).

Mortal Kombat X Online Beta.
This netcode is amazing. I fought a guy with 150 ping and it still felt like offline. Anything above 150 is bad and I'm usually at 90 so it's pretty damn close to offline. These new buffs/nerfs are great too.
It sucks I have to use this primary SZ costume all the time, it's not a bad costume just not as good as Kuai Liang.

I started a thread dedicated to the beta I hope you will post your thoughts there so it would make it more organized instead of having to go through other random threads. I too have the beta and did a rough review of it but I haven't updated it since the latest patch.
