What game are you playing right now?

Virtua Fighter 5. I never played a Virtua Fighter game since 2001! Many people have changed their abilities while some abilities remain the same.

Didn't like DC Universe Online.
I'm deleting off my hard-drive.
It got redundant really quick.

I'm usually not an MMO person, to begin with, but I downloaded the game with an open mind and thought "F**K it. I'll give it a try."
Eh, it's not my type of game.
I might just pick up Arkham Asylum or Arkham City some time later.

Arkham Asylum GOTY edition is only $20. ;-)

Yeah, DCUO was cool for a little while, but the patch downloads (not to mention the game file itself) are EXCRUCIATING and take forever and a day. I just may have to delete it myself as well.

Been playing Twisted Metal, and have been since its release. Finished the story mode on Normal, and will probably switch between playing online multiplayer and off to story mode on Twisted Metal Black. Its a shame how short the story mode for TM2012 was, compared to TMB. Still, it was an awesome return and I love this game.

lol I got to like lvl 8 before I quit DC universe.

I've been playing that Star Wars MMO. I'm not even really a starwars fan. But I'm a fan of Bioware. And I'm like lvl 17 in this game and the story mode is very fun. I always want to know what's next. There are different storylines based on your job.

I haven't even played in a group yet. I just enjoy playing it solo. I'm sure if I played with some friends I'd be addicted. But I'm liking my casual pace with this game. I play like once a week.

This weekend I'm driving to Georgia for a SSBM tournament.
I'm gonna rock the "TRMK" as my tag to represent you guys on live stream :D

My friends are huge Star Wars fans and they tried convincing me to get that but when I finally decided I wanted to get it they decided not to because of money issues, so I canceled my order. How is it?

It's hard to explain I can just tell you some pros/cons

Things I love about it:
Dialogue
Story
Fast recovery inbetween battles.
Ease of travel
Companions (You can do some REALLY cool things with them like send them on missions while you're AFK to make you money/exp/items ect ect.
I'm only lvl 17, so my experience itself is still limited, but there is still a tad bit of grinding. But not too much. Just when you are somewhat thinking of being bored grinding. You are good to go for the next/quest/mission.

And quest/missions give you EXP just for completing them. So you're accidentally grinding, while doing missions. So you don't even realize it half the time leaving it fun.

Cons
Early game battles are sort of simple. Atleast with Damage Dealers. You kind of just spam you best damage moves. And occasionally bust out defensive measurs like "Flash bangs" or stun knives to keep them at bay. I'm 100% confident it'll just keep getting more deep.

Gear changing isn't as often as I'd like it to be. when I played FFXI online, I looked brand new every 2-3 levels I got. I've been wearing pretty much the same armor for like 10 levels lol. The noticable peices. ONce again I'm in early phases of the game so hopefully that changes. I've seen some end-game gear. and it looks sick.

Also it's got that bioware chat stuff where you choose between 4 different answers.

Not for me.

Maybe it's the Back To The Future fanboy in me speaking out, but I could play that game 100 times and never get tired of it.
Maybe it's all the easter egg references to the movies that I have picked up on. ;-)

The ONLY thing that pissed me off about the game was Episode 5, bacause they didn't give it an ending.
They should have just ended it with the part where Doc gave Marty the book of his family's history.
There's no need to continue it further.

On a side note:

Has anyone played Marvel Ultimate Alliance or Ultimate Alliance 2?
Is it an MMO?
Do I need to play Part 1 in order to play Part 2, or is it a brand new story?
