What are you listening to?

warning, video is very cliche (fanmade industrial video with tanks and dead bodies galore!)

probably the greatest thing to ever come out of NIN. One that I just keep coming back to the most
out of any other NIN song.

just wanted to get nemesis or rook's opinion on my statement.

Happiness In Slavery is one of my favorite NIN tracks of all time. Broken is a masterpiece and Fixed is just as good. HIS remix is fantastic. Just as good as the original. HIS remix and Gave Up remix on Fixed are just amazing. I remember listening to Fixed over the summer and me and my friends were high listening to it and the Wish remix came on and during a certain part of the song, it starts to sound like it's skipping and my friends thought my CD was screwed up. I just told them to wait hahaha.

I actually have Broke and Fixed on cassette.

Also, that synth solo at 3:44 in the video is GOD like. My favorite solo from Trent by far. It's beautiful.

Approved!

Remixed by Vrenna, Reznor, and some dude named Paul Kendall.

This is a perfect example of 'industrial'. Odd sounds in rhythm.

Great fan made video too!

3:52 with that programming is seriously Godlike.

I think Broken is probably the most industrial album/EP that NIN has ever released. TDS and TF are great and they both rank in my top 10 albums of all time, but Broken is more definitive as industrial than TDS or TF.

at 3 minutes in when the "Slavery" part comes on till the end of the song is the best.
That voice gives me chills.

I admittedly didnt appreciate Fixed as much when I first listened to it, But I love how harsh it sounds now.

I love Fixed, though its one of those albums that you have to keep listening to to enjoy it more. That's how The Fragile is was with me when I first started heavily getting into NIN.

The only remix album that I still don't really care for is Further Down The Spiral. It's got a few goodies like Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now), Hurt (Quiet), though the UK version of FDTS is better because they got Hurt (live), Ruiner (version), Heresy (version) and Self Destruct Part 3.

Ruiner being one of my favorite tracks from TDS. I just found some of the remixes on FDTS to be lackluster compared to Things Falling Apart.

I like FDTS, its not amazing but it has a lot of decent songs on there. Eraser (Denial: Realization) is such a dark song, that riff just crushes me, I love it. But yeah, All The Pigs All Lined Up is my favorite Mix of a downward spiral song, I forget its on the separate MOTP album sometimes.

And is there a gif out there of the Broken or Fixed album cover?
Just wondering. That blue would look so sexy moving.
Fixed Blue > Broken's Red
