Underrated Games

tomb raider: anniversary was a great game.

Oh damn! Didn't know that there's another Pirates game since 2004! So no, haven't played the Wii version. Now I want to try it out too, but I don't have a Wii. :(

Edit: I just read in a forum discussion that the Wii version doesn't have the land battle minigame, I wonder if that's true?
One of the best parts in the game.

I think I've heard that as well, but I never really liked it anyway. You don't generally need to use it much, unless you're trying to sack Panama or something

-PsychoNauts (Genius platformer from Tim Schaffer)
-Brutal Legend(Genius 3rd person adventure from Tim Schaffer.)
-Okami (For fans of Zelda)
-No More Heroes
-No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle
-Killer 7 (Another Suda 51 trip)
-Bayonetta
- A Boy And His Blob
-Ico and Shadow Of The Collossus(Great reviews for both horrible sales for both.)
-Odd World: Strangers Wrath (If you didnt play it on X-Box get it on PSN!)
- The Darkness
- Chrono Trigger
- EarthBound
- Metroid: Other M (Alot of people didnt care for it I thought it was impressive to say the least.)
-MK: Shaolin Monks
-Killer Instinct and KI:Gold
EDIT: I keep thinking of more heres a really bad ass 3rd person shooter to find.

-The Suffering and its Sequel

gotta agree with Brutal Legend and No More Heroes (wii) i thought those games were awesoooome

NINJA WARRIORS (snes). if you haven't played ninja warriors you are missing out on a classic. its about 3 ninja robots that kick alot of ass. but i dont know many people that have even heard of it.

Wow yea QuanChi13 i still have it.Cant believe someone else has played it. Dont remember his name but the dude with scythes on his arms was my favorite.

Condemned
This was my first game on the 360 and i still find my self playing it from time to time. This game had a great story! to bad the second one ruined the series .

Deadly Premonition
If you like twin peaks or good old ps1 survival horror this game is golden. very fun even with clunky controls .

Silent Hill 5
great game with amazing story and gameplay, it got a bad rep when it first came out because ppl didn't know where they were going and there was bugs on the ps3 version. i love this game.

Silent Hill 4
in the shadow of the first three games silent hill 4 doesn't really stand out, but if you look at it as its own game its very good. and story wise this Silent hill would make the best movie.

Super Meat Boy
it got great reviews when it came out but this game is so good that it can't be overrated therefore its under rated ! i have been playing platformers since the day i was born, my nes, genesis, and super nes are still connected to my tv. that being said Super Meat Boy is the best platformer imo.

N+
N+ is another platformer. very fun to play with friends. we used to pick a theme and then make a level with that theme for our friends to beat ! great fun, solid game.

Megaman 10
Megaman is great period. but this megaman had a lot; it had stages that gave you a choice to which path to take, it had sweet weapons, it had dlc stages, it had easy mode, it had two additional characters, it had great boss fights and original challenges, and it had megaman ! this game may also be MegaMans last work :'''''''( because capcom just pulled the plug from two megaman tittles in production (one allready had a demo).

Megaman X games are great

Nice to see someone agreeing with me here. I actually prefer the Mega Man X series over the original series, even though I do like the original series too. I have all the Mega Man X games, thanks to the Mega Man X Collection for PS2, as well as X7 and X8 as standalone games, since they weren't included on the disk, but the first 6 games are on it. They need to make an X9 already.

TMNT: Smash Up for Wii

EXTREMELY underrated fighting game, especially if you're a ninja turtles fan. its a shame it was overlooked for its lack of characters, but still a great game. its like super smash bros. gameplay (but better)

they just cancelled two megaman titles they are not making a new megaman game any time soon ="(.

Yeah, I heard about that. I wasn't looking forward to Mega Man Legend 3 so much, but I was really looking forward to Mega Man Universe and I was sad when I heard it was cancelled.

Has anyone mentioned Onimusha? They so need to make a new Onimusha game with the original characters rather that blonde haired freak that was in Onimusha 4 lol. I really liked megaman zero. Loved that version of zero. Would be sick if they made a next gen version.

Also 007 Bloodstone. Looks like a toned down Gears of War but I find it actually better since ALL weapons are used frequently. Not shotgun shotgun shotgun

Clive Barker's Undying.

It's an epic horror game and one of the best FPS ever made. Despite great reviews it didn't sell very well. Because of this the sequal and multiplayer patch were cancelled. :( It has one of the best ever stories and atmosphere in a game to date.

Realms of The Haunting

Combine FPS, RPG, point and click adventure and Pickle from Knightmare and you get Realms of The Haunting! Original and awesome.

you'll love this game then

For clarification, I meant the the PS2 game in particular, as the games before it more were quite popular at their time. It has a different look and feel to than the games before it; a 3D game with more emphasis on close-range combat. The game encourages players to work fast since killing enemies will temporary power up your sword (enough to kill bosses in one hit at its peak), while letting time pass without killing will eat your life away. I'm not familiar with Ninja Gaiden, so I can't make a comparison.

I always wanted to try Shinobi when I had my PS2, but I couldn't find any copies near me; I played Revenge of Shinobi and its one of my favorite Sega Genesis games; the concept of the sword powering up sounds pretty cool. Did they keep the ninjitsu attacks?

Yes ****in Onimusha was badass! Samonosuke is the ****in man and Jubei from part 2 I had 3 as well but never got to play dawn of dreams. I'd really like to see this done in an HD collection and a new one too! Highly underrated and really fun with a unique art style and story!
