Trolling against special move spammers (^_~)

You clearly don't understand the thread, we aren't talking about tournament-worthy players. We're talking about noobs who only use special moves and can't do anything else. Get your head out of your ass and try again. All of your posts are complete shit and arrogant, you're not bad ass.
 
If you find one move that your opponent obviously doesn't know how to counter and you do it over and over, that's just tacky. I always try to leave myself open to attack at certain points so my opponent can get a hit in.

I sort of agree, but sort of don't. Like against friends I sometimes go a bit easier, and even if I know spamming fireballs will win me the match because they're new to the game or just don't know how to counter it, I usually wont because I'd rather have a fun game than an easy win. Online though, I don't want people to be holding back, if someone can beat me by spamming the same move, then thats something I want to come face to face with so I can learn how to counter it and get better. You wont learn how to overcome these cheesy strats if people don't throw them at you, thats how you get better imo.
 
Saw one guy in King of the hill, using Smoke and using his teleport punch, than the smoke thing where you get teleported into a throw constantly. It was funny, since he fought against someone think a Mileena or Scorpion, and lost. Than he said on his mic, that was cheap. Was kinda funny.
Fought a guy like that during a ranked match, lost to mis timing a dash with Kabal, and got hit by his X-Ray move. Poopy.

Learn to play Nightwolf well and you'll never have problems with spammers and zoners again ;)

I mostly play Sub-Zero exclusively but everytime I get a hit confirm I do at least a 7-8 hit combo. I don't know why but to me Sub-Zero has the most satisfying combos in the entire game.

Nightwolf's a beast once you learn his timings and connects and can do A LOT of damage without any meter. Not to mention because of the cloud, reflect and bow he's, imo, one of the best zoners AND anti-zoners in the game, except aganst Noob (can't reflect Saibot).
 
Correct me if I'm wrong, but using Stryker to spam attacks on someone spamming attacks doesn't sound like Trolling to me, it sounds like spamming attacks.
 
I've never played a fighting game to any sort of pro level, so some of the terms confuse me, like what is meant by a "zoner", is that just someone who is really good at staying away from you? And while we're at it, whats a rushdown? I see that thrown around a bit too
 
I hate spammers.
Spammers in MKvsDC pissed me off to the point that playing online was no longer fun.

It's the reason I don't go online in MK 9, either.
Only people that I'll play against online, in MK 9, are the people on my friends list on PSN.
The reason for that is because I know that they won't spam.

I'm no MK PRO, but fighting against someone who only does Scorpion's spear and teleport, throughout the duration of the match, is ****ing annoying.



EDIT:

I'd rather have my ass handed to me by an MK Pro that does a 50% combo than by some cheap spammer doing the same shit over and over and over again.

His combos do feel really good. I think it has to do with the added ice stuff, it makes it feel powerful when you ice shank during a combo. Also mid-combo freezing feels really good. But yeah, Nightwolf.... I need to learn how to use him for sure. Jade would also be a decent option.

Zoner characters are characters that specialize in long range combat and keeping people away from you, like Sektor with all of his missles.

YOU still clearly dont get what i am saying. And im not gonna say it again. If you want to keep the scrub mentality, enjoy it. it doesnt matter to me what you or Kelsper or anyone else thinks. You and anyone who agrees with your failure mentality are clueless.

Its an interesting read, but its fundamentally flawed because he assumes that the way he plays games (playing to win at all costs) is the right way to play, or the only fun way to play. That everyone should be aspiring to this level of play because theres no point doing anything else. Thats not true though, a lot of people are quite happy being "scrubs" and don't make excuses for themselves, or a lot of people get satisfaction out of pulling off complex combos or moves, rather than winning at all cost. Its a bit arrogant for that guy to just proclaim that his way is the only way to play and everyone who doesn't play like him or think like him is doing it wrong.

Haha, so is this thread about getting frustrated and salty with people that use specials and nothing but.
Or is it about how easy it is to beat people that can do nothing but random specials.

Because either way, it's retarded. Also, props to Araknyd03 who doesn't play anyone that might play "the wrong way".

All the specials in this are so punishable, (especially if you have a teleport) take their random scrubbyness as a cue to practice your big combo's.
