TRMK Fit and Healthy Club

Nah I did it.
Wasn't able to do my Saturdays or leg press cause my friend killed my vibe with computer science questions

Squat Jacks are good for cardio and legs at the same time, I do them in my cardio routine.

Just did my 1000 calorie workout for the week. Good thing I just had my dinner afterwards.

Fell off my diet.
Doing better with proportions though.

My lifting is at an all time great. I feel amazing and it's only getting better.
I'm not sure if I should use my tax money to either buy a truck so I can go to the gym, or if I should use it to upgrade my home set up.

I have to do legs today. :(

I hate doing legs the most

Don't. Skip. Leg. Day!!

I've started to get my stuff together over the last few months, and am lighter and leaner than I've been in about 7 years. I'm pretty stoked about it too!

Hey great for you too getting back to being healthy :D.

I stopped going after spring break so I'm pretty lazy now. Also not to mention I have a lot of fvcking math work to do

After much thought, I've decided that it's time to start going back to the gym full time now instead of going once every 2 days. I'll be leaving for the gym once my gym clothes get out of the washer and dryer.

Ever since I joined cross country back in my junior year of high school, I love running. Every so often I get taken to the gym to work out, but I mostly do my legs. I've tried doing arm workouts, but something in my right arm pops and it just irritates me to continue. I know that I should do more arm stuff, but that pop.

Anyways, I do mostly running. I don't run too much as I'm starting to get back into it. (I refuse to run on tread mills because I don't like them) I do neighborhood runs. I got a three mile run in the zoo next month and I'm getting read for that! Also, the Color Run should be coming soon so I can't wait to do that either!

I want to do a zombie run, but the best ones I know of costs too much and they're really far from where I'm at. Schucks because I love running!

Glad to see this thread still has life. Since I've been way more active lately I figured I'll contribute again.

Around 2003 after graduating college I started to get serious about being fit. I changed my diet and started working out for the first time. I lost a bunch of weight and eventually got to my lowest adult weight by 2007 after 4 years of hard work. In 2008 I changed jobs to where I work at home now, and I couldn't get to the gym as often (excuses) and I slowly put it back on. A few times since 08 I started to get healthy again and would fight off the weight a bit and give up and start gaining again. Lots of excuses, lots of bad habits.

I started to get serious about it again late last year, it was time to fix that before my health suffered from more than just back pains. I'm eating a low calorie, low-carb ketogenic diet mixed in with moderate weight training and cardio. I also do intermittent fasting during the week. I'm now at my lowest I've been since late 2008 and hoping to hit my 2007 low weight this fall if I keep on schedule.

So hopefully by September I'll hit my goal if I keep up with it. So look for a progress photo or two around that time. I've been donating clothes I can't wear anymore but have a few things I want to keep for comparisons sake as well as a shirt I hope to get back into to know I hit my goal.

Man, by far one of the worst things about having been sick for almost two weeks and landing in the ER is the fact that I haven't been able to work out. :/ I don't feel right without my routine.

I just recently started training MMA. Well, my monthly subscription has expired, but i'll be renewing it tomorrow, it's awesome and takes all the stress away. I probably won't be gaining much muscle since i'm a vegetarian and do no try to get many protein (no tofu, etc.) but we'll see.

Never posted in this thread. I dont have a specific routine or anything, just started running and swimming daily as well as eating healthier.
So far have lost about 50 lbs. Hope to lose a lot more

So, down 25lbs from the start of the year, I don't think that's too bad at all... Both pics are from yesterday.
